Winning Trainer: Daniel Bowman
On the mare and her difficult racing style: "She's got good talent, she's a borderline Group horse but she just gives it away at the start every time.
"Finally we've been able to get Ollie on her - I thought if he couldn't get her to jump no one will - and she jumped probably too good for the way we were going to ride her, but saved ground and got there in the last couple of bounds, so we're very happy."
On her condition: "We had her as forward as we could and I thought she'd run well, being that it was a bit short of her best, but when Jerome's mare (Rich Fortune) was here I was a bit worried because I've got a lot of respect for it and he's such a good fresh trainer.
"But Ollie just rode her a treat. He got the suck run and we know if she can be ridden like that and exposed late she's got a really good sharp furlong turn of foot and she was able to use that"
Does she head to something harder: "We're just happy to get her confidence back with another win.
"We'll probably target that back end of the summer with her and try and avoid some of the better ones. There's plenty of races around right through until after Christmas so we're in no rush."
Winning Jockey: Damien Oliver
On his approach to the race: "Dan said she can be a bit tricky in the gates, she's jumped OK today, but I watched her replays and I got the feeling she'd like a peekaboo ride like that and we were able to work it out nicely today."
On the mare and trainer Daniel Bowman: "She's been very consistent but sometimes just gets a bit out of her ground and today it worked out nice, she had a good run and it's great to get a nice win for good people in Dan and his wife.
"They're really good racing people and I don't ride for him much but it's nice to get his support and get a winner for him before I go out."
On riding winner at his final Bendigo Cup meeting: "I haven't won a Cup here but I've ridden lots of winners over the years here and you couldn't ask for a better track.
"It's great to come and ride here and certainly one of my favourite tracks."
