REIGNING John Letts Medallist Jason Holder went from the punter’s pal to their enemy with his three winners at Morphettville on the Parks last Saturday.

Jason Holder steered home two early favourites when Arugamama and Delcredere scored but ended the hopes of many quaddie punters when $81 chance Left Turn Clyde saluted later in the day.

It was the first leg of a race to race training double for Morphettville horseman Stuart Gower with Master At Arms winning a tick over thirty minutes with Justin Potter in the saddle.

"Two runners two winners, it can't go any better,'' Gower said.

"I wasn't worried about the gate, it's the Parks, I don't really think it suits.

"I said if it was on the main track I'd declare him,'' he said.

Master At Arms will now line-up in the Happy Trails Final on TAB Finals Day and Gower said the horse will thrive on the bigger track getting out in trip.

"The mile here on the bigger track is going to suit him even better then today, it's onwards and upwards,'' Gower added.

It was the second leg of a riding double for Potter after he claimed the opening race aboard Queman who continued the brilliant run for the Shane and Cassie Oxlade stable.

Queman is another who will play a major hand on TAB Finals Day after winning his second Gytrash Series heat in convincing style.

"You'd like to get a sit in the final,'' Oxlade said.

"He really cruised up and was the strongest late, he's flying,'' he said.

AT Naracoorte on Sunday jockey Sairyn Fawke claimed riding honours with a double aboard the Sue Murphy-trained pair of Hi Smokey and Hasta La Chilly, Murphy grabbing a third win on her home deck when Hasta La Prince scored with Todd Pannell in the saddle.

THE long trek to Broken Hill reaped rewards for Morphettville trainer Paula Trenwith on Saturday with The Ladies Man claiming the Silver City Cup.

While the New Zealand galloper who shares an almost identical name, Ladies Man finished second in the Group 3 Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Flemington, the Adelaide galloper made a mess of rivals winning by 14.5 lengths with Nichola Yuen in the saddle.

SA apprentices had a good day, Caitlin Tootell recording a winning double while Caitlyn Munro was also in the winner's circle.
