The Queensland Summer Racing Carnival moves to Doomben this Saturday for Recognition Stakes Day.

The ten-race card is highlighted by two Listed races, the Recognition Stakes and Tattersall's Classic.

RACE 1 - 1:03PM: BENCHMARK 78 Handicap (2200 METRES)Kureder (5) has been racing in great form with two wins from his past three starts.
The Chris Waller-trained four-year-old gelding won three starts back over 2060m at this track before being beaten by a head at Ipswich.
He bounced back last start when rising to 2418m at Eagle Farm where he stormed home to win easily by 1.4 lengths.
The outside barrier in the field of nine isn't ideal but he overcame the outside gate last start and there looks to be good speed in the race.
1 Unit – Kureder (5)
RACE 2 - 1:38PM: 2YO PLATE (1110 METRES)Trapeze Alert (4) is on debut for Queensland's top trainer Tony Gollan.
The son of Trapeze Artist has had two trials leading into this first-up assignment with the most recent being quite impressive.
He showed good speed to lead all the way in quick time over 850m at the Sunshine Coast to win by four lengths.
Jimmy Orman was the pilot in both trials and sticks for the race ride which should see him go forward in the small field.
1 Unit – Trapeze Alert (4)
RACE 3 - 2:13PM: BENCHMARK 68 Handicap (1350 METRES)Thankful Heart (6) has raced well this preparation with three wins and two placings from six starts.
The Annabel Neasham-trained stepped up to this distance for the first time last start, which happened to be at this track, and handled it beautifully.
He jumped well from barrier 8, the same as he's drawn here, to lead before kicking strongly in the straight to win comfortably by 2.3 lengths.
Ben Thompson takes the ride and should be able to lead or at the very least settle handy.
1 Unit – Thankful Heart (6)
RACE 4 - 1:52PM: QTIS Three-Year-Old Handicap (1350 METRES)Golden Decade (1) enjoyed the run of the race when proving too strong over 1200m at this track last start.
The Matt Dunn-trained gelding will enjoy the rise to 1350m and it is a distance he has previously won over, claiming a race at Ipswich last preparation.
He enjoys the sting out of the ground and maps to get a similar run to last start which should see him launching late.
1 Unit – Golden Decade (1)
RACE 5 - 3:32PM: Fillies & Mares BENCHMARK 78 Handicap (1350 METRES)Midnight In Tokyo (3) has returned this preparation in good order.
The Annabel Neasham-trained daughter of Kobayashi ran well for third when resuming before improving significantly second-up over 1200m at this track.
She let down powerfully to win by a length which suggests she's ready for the rise to 1350m third-up.
A strong tempo will aid her cause as will Bailey Wheeler's 2kg claim.
1 Unit – Midnight In Tokyo (3)
RACE 6 - 4:12PM: Class 3 Plate (1615 METRES)Alberich (4) has raced well since arriving at Chris Waller's Queensland stable after racing in Sydney last preparation.
The son of Snitzel ran well first-up at Ipswich before stepping up to this distance at this track last start.
He let down powerfully to run down the leader and win by a length.
He'll strip fitter third-up and has raced well on rain-affected tracks in the past.
1 Unit – Alberich (4)
RACE 7 - 4:48PM: LISTED TATTERSALL'S CLASSIC (1200 METRES)Comrade Rosa (1) went to another level last preparation when joining the Tony Gollan stable.
The five-year-old mare won four races when last in work including the Listed Helen Coughlan Stakes and the Group 2 Dane Ripper Stakes.
There was a flashing light on her first-up effort in the Listed Keith Noud Quality where she stormed home for fourth, recording the quickest last 400m and 200m splits of the race.
She'll strip fitter second-up and is thrown in under the set weight conditions of the race.
1 Unit – Comrade Rosa (1)
RACE 8 - 5:28PM: LISTED RECOGNITION STAKES (1350 METRES)Zarastro (13) went too hard in front in the Keith Noud Quality last start and was run down by Extremist to finish 1.3 lengths second.
Prior to that the Tony Gollan-trained son of I Am Invincible won three races in a row and in emphatic fashion.
He draws wide here but has the early speed to cross and take up the lead or settle in the second pair.
With just 53kg he could prove hard to run down.
1 Unit – Zarastro (13)
RACE 9 - 6:12PM: BENCHMARK 85 Handicap (1615 METRES)The Catch (10) has been building throughout this preparation and should be at peak fitness here fifth-up.
Last start, despite not a great deal of luck, the Jack Bruce-trained six-year-old gelding ran on strongly to finish third by 1.7 lengths over this course and distance.
In his only other previous start over this distance here, he won in good style.
Damien Thornton can settle in a prominent position from barrier 4.
1 Unit – The Catch (10)
RACE 10 - 6:42PM: BENCHMARK 80 Handicap (1110 METRES)Emperor (16) resumed in fine style at Randwick over 1000m in a Highway Handicap last start.
The Matt Dunn-trained gelding stormed home to win easily by two-lengths and looked like an above average horse in the process.
He returns to Brisbane for the first time since winning over this course and distance three starts ago.
He's undefeated at the track and maps to get a great run for Jimmy Orman.
