Winning Trainer: Ben, Will & J D Hayes (Ben speaking)
Off tendon injury: "It's a great result by the horse. He's been in great form, running well. He's a horse coming back from a tendon injury and to win four races for the prep is a very good effort. It's very exciting. It's a big thrill for everyone at Lindsay Park as it's hard to get these tendon horses back and keep them in winning form."
Plan: "He joked when he came out, just like the last one please, and did. Full credit to Michael. He rode him brilliantly."
Runs well spaced: "He's in great form and we'll see how he pulls up, but I just thought in the mounting yard today, although he did win, he's starting to look quite fit. It is his first prep back from a tendon, so we'll have a think about what we do but he might go for a well-deserved break."
Winning Jockey: Michael Dee
Similar to Geelong Cup Day win: "We went to the front on both occasions and kept him bowling along. He doesn't show a great turn of foot but he can sustain a good gallop. It's a good effort especially with the track as heavy as it is when it's hard for those coming from behind to really quicken up in these conditions and run past."
