Nine races are set to be run and won including the Group 3 La Trice Classic and Listed Summer Scorcher.

The track is currently rated a good 4 and the rail will be in the true position.

Our Ladbrokes preview can be found below.

RACE 1 - 2:45PM: MAGIC MILLIONS PLATE 2YO (1100 METRES)

Sinful Living will start a short priced favourite and deservedly so.

The Safeguard filly was very good on debut, hitting the front at the top of the straight, she was just collared late.

With that run under her belt she proved too good last time, taking up the running and showing a good kick in the straight to pull away and score easily by just under three lengths.

The step to 1100m looks ideal and Rachel King retains the ride for Daniel and Ben Pearce.

RACE 2 - 3:25PM: ASCEND TROPHIES PLATE 3YO (1000 METRES)

Ginnivan resumes.

The Jim Taylor trained gelding just had the two starts last campaign and could not have been more impressive on debut.

Showing brilliant speed out of the gates he led them up and proved too strong in the straight, going on to score by over two and a half lengths.

He was then sent out favourite at his following start and could only manage third, but was later found to be shinsore and subsequently sent for a break.

Given two trials leading into this, the son of Universal Ruler looks ready to go and should get the right run from gate four.

RACE 3 - 4:05PM: AMELIA PARK HANDICAP 1MW (1000 METRES)

Hostile Talk made the perfect start to his career with a dominant victory at Belmont earlier this month.

Settling just off the leader in the 1000m event, he picked up strongly in the straight to pull away and score easily by over three lengths.

He looked to have plenty of natural talent in two trials prior to his debut and he certainly showed that on raceday.

Prepared by Grant and Alana Williams, the son of War Chant looks very promising and the step from maiden grade to a one metro win looks within his capability.

Willy Pike sticks with him which is always a positive sign.

RACE 4 - 4:45PM: TABtouch - WESTSPEED PLATINUM HANDICAP NMW (1200 METRES)

Deamber is building a very tidy record and will look to make it three on the trot.

Only lightly raced, she won well here over 1400m back in October and was again too strong last month over 1200m.

The form around her is solid and at just four years of age, she looks to have plenty of upside.

With seven weeks since that last run she stays at 1200m and from barrier three Jason Whiting is sure to afford her every chance.

RACE 5 - 5:20PM: MUMM CHAMPAGNE HANDICAP 1MW (1800 METRES)

Flower in the Wind produced a terrific first up effort to finish second over 1500m here just over a fortnight ago.

After settling midfield, she charged through in restricted room to get within a length of the winner and she will have taken good improvement from the run.

The daughter of Sebring doesn't win out of turn but she's a smart mare on her day and will appreciate the step up in trip.

Steven Parnham stays in the saddle and if he can slot in from gate six, she'll be doing her best work late.

RACE 6 - 5:50PM: MRS MAC'S - LA TRICE CLASSIC GROUP 3 FILLIES AND MARES (1800 METRES)

Rusty Dreams comes off a well deserved victory in the Listed Starstruck Stakes.

The Universal Ruler mare pulled up with an elevated heart rate at her second start back and charged late to just miss in the Listed Jungle Dawn Classic at her following appearance.

Everything aligned for her last time and she relished to the step to mile, sprinting strongly to hold out the fast finishing Super Smink.

This will be her first go at 1800m but she did contest the Belmont Guineas over 2000m last campaign and was strong to the line, only beaten 1.7 lengths.

Chris Parnham goes back in the saddle and from the wide drawn she'll go back and will be powering home late.

RACE 7 - 6:25PM: FURPHY - SUMMER SCORCHER LISTED (1000 METRES)

Gemma's Son resumes and the Snippetson gelding does boast a very tidy first up record.

He was sent to the paddock after a trip to Melbourne, which saw him finish a close second around Moonee Valley.

Following that he failed in stronger grade at Caulfield but bounced back with another solid performance at the Valley.

He's got a terrific record over the 1000m and looks well placed here first up.

Joe Azzopardi goes onboard for David Harrison and from barrier four he's set to receive every chance.

BET NOW: Ascot Race 7

RACE 8 - 7:04PM: TABtouch - PERTH CUP GROUP 2 (2400 METRES)

Queen Alina has always shown plenty of promise and really looks to be hitting her peak this time in.

Coming off a maiden stakes win over 2200m, the Mahuta mare had been placed at black type level on several occasions and it was a well deserved victory.

Whilst she's yet to step out over 2400m, the way she finds the line suggests she'll relish the trip and she gets in beautifully with just 53kgs on her back.

This is her toughest test to date but she's in terrific form and certainly deserves her chance here.

Chris Parnham has formed a great association with the mare and from gate six he can have her positioned within striking distance.

1 unit – QUEEN ALINA

BET NOW: Ascot Race 8

RACE 9 - 7:39PM: SCHWEPPES HANDICAP RTG72+ (1200 METRES)

Duchess of Gossip hasn't been far away in three runs back this campaign.

The talented mare didn't have the best of luck at her first two outings, which were both at Listed level, and off a wide run last start, she looked the winner 200m out but just peaked late.

The daughter of All American showed plenty of ability last preparation winning five of her eight starts and she can certainly bounce back here.

Hard fit with the three runs under her belt, she'll appreciate the 2kg dop in the weights and Pike will reunite with her.
