Warwick Farm horseman Gregory Hickman has high hopes that his lightly raced three-year-old Tiger Town can bounce back to winning form when he runs at Queanbeyan on Tuesday.

Tiger Town ($6.50 on TAB) has only had five starts, for a win on debut at Taree and a last start second at Canberra, and will line up in the Solicrete Concrete Solutions Class 1 Handicap – Heat Of The Rising Star (1460m) with apprentice Beany Panya taking the ride.

"He's a horse that has shown us a bit of ability at home and he lived up to that when he won at Taree at his first start," said Gregory Hickman.

"His form was a bit mixed after that but he should his best again at Canberra at his latest start and the horse that beat him there [Outsmarted] is unbeaten from two starts and looks to be pretty talented."

Hickman said the step up in distance for Tiger Town should suit on Tuesday.

"He was hitting the line well at Canberra over 1300m and the extra 160m at Queanbeyan looks good for him," Hickman said.

"He ran at Queanbeyan two starts ago over 1200m but that was on a heavy track and he settled back and never got into things but I'd be inclined to forget that run as it was too short for him.

"We'll just keep stepping him up in distance as that looks like it's going to suit him."

Panya, who has been aboard Tiger Town for his past two starts, has a further four mounts at Queanbeyan headed by Lady De Guise ($1.90 favourite) for Warwick Farm trainer Ron Leemon in the Bungendore Maiden Handicap (900m).

Lady De Guise was a last start second at Nowra behind Sky Artist on a heavy track when ridden by Panya.

The Anita Walder-trained Voluble ($34), midfield at its latest Queanbeyan start, will contest the Queanbeyan Leagues Club Country Boosted Maiden Plate (1600m) for Panya.

The 1.5kg claimer will also ride Geostorm ($11) in the Joe Cleary Country Boosted Benchmark 58 Handicap (1600m), while she is booked for emergency Papaver Miner ($31) for Jack Van Duren in the New Millennium Printing Benchmark 58 Handicap (1200m).
