Trainer Colin Webster is also likely to aim the gelding at the Listed Bunbury Stakes (1400m) early next month, as he looks to score his first win since the 2022 Railway Stakes (1600m).

Webster said he hoped the sprint features could deliver Trix Of The Trade another win.

"I'm very happy with him," Webster told The Races WA.

"They're ideal races for him.

"He will get a bit of weight, but there's no alternative.

"He's carried and won with weight before."

A winner at nine of his 20 starts, Trix Of The Trade has won three Listed races along with his Railway Stakes success and amassed almost $1.5 million in prize money.

The son of Trade Fair is likely to have a different autumn in 2024 to 2023, where he ran first-up in the TABtouch-Quokka (1200m).

Webster indicated Trix Of The Trade, who he said had returned to work "as good as ever", could feature in Weight-For-Age events like the Belmont Sprint (1400m) at Belmont after the Quokka.

Meanwhile, Baby Paris has also recently returned to Webster's stable, following a successful previous campaign with Birthday Stakes (1200m) and Jungle Dawn Classic wins (1400m).

The mare was unplaced in the Group 3 Gold Rush (1400m) at her most recent start.

Webster said Baby Paris' campaign would be aimed at winning a second straight $200,000 Joey (1200m) on April 20.

"She's been back in work for 10 days and she's looking terrific," he said.

"The Joey looks to be the ideal race for her, so we will have a look at that."
