Touted as the next Gai Waterhouse, Annabel Neasham has made stunning inroads in racing since arriving in Australia eight years ago.

After spending six months working for Waterhouse, Neasham joined the Ciaron Maher stable and quickly found herself at the helm of his Sydney stable.

Neasham' stats are nothing short of stunning.

She trained a winner with her first runner when she branched out on her own in 2020 and has produced 442 winners since going alone - 171 winners coming last season alone – and includes 48 at Group and Listed level.

Capitalex makes his debut in the $202,250 Magic Millions SA 2yo Classic (1100m) on the back of two Sydney trials while Swiss Exile will run favourite in the $122,250 Magic Millions 3 & 4YO Classic (1200m).

Swiss Exile has just the one win but almost half a million dollars in prizemoney next to his name.

His only win came in the Group 2 Champagne Classic at Eagle Farm in May 2022 before he run second behind Sheeza Belter in the Group 2 Sires' Produce Stakes at his next start.

In the spring he took on the likes of In Secret and Giga Kick before campaigning in Queensland again late in his three-year-old season taking on the likes of Lady Laguna, Yellow Brick and chasing home Hawaii Five Oh in the Group 3 Fred Best Stakes.

Swiss Exile comes off an encouraging return to racing when he finished off strong to be narrowly beaten by Twin Perfection at Caulfield.

Talented young SA rider Jacob Opperman has been booked to ride the pair.

Swiss Exile heads betting as a $2.60 favourite ahead of the Leon and Troy Corstens-trained Zou Sensation ($3.50), while the Michael Hickmott-trained Ad Astra  s a $2.50 favourite in the two-year-old feature.
