Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for June 14.

Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Warwick Farm, Mornington and Cairns.

WARWICK FARM: RACE 3 @ 2:00 PM

SAVOIR FAIRE (8) couldn't have been more impressive on debut when flying home to win here over 1200m. King was on board for that victory and sticks. The step-up to 1300m is ideal and she looks the one they all have to run down. NIKAU (7) has been very good this campaign winning both starts over this journey. Will be nearing peak fitness third-up from the spell and looks a serious contender in a race like this. ZOROCAT (6) is very honest only missing the top five twice in ten career starts. Drawn well for Collett in gate four and can be right in the finish again. CENTIMENTAL (4) mixes her form but go on good Wyong win two starts back. BLACK BOLT (1) has placed at this track and gets 2kg weight relief. One for the exotics.

MORNINGTON: RACE 8 @ 4:30 PM

A number of the original field raced on Saturday. VAINLY (7) lifted strongly to finish on the winner's heels last start at Sandown-Hillside. Comes back to a favourable circuit where he has won two times before and is expected to go close. MRS BECKHAM (11) ran seventh last start at Flemington over 1400m when beaten 4 lengths. Is a strong chance to take this off the low draw. CATEGORY FIVE (2) was a winner at Cranbourne last start at the same journey, and has been in strong form with two wins from three attempts this preparation. Rates an each way chance from out wide. FIELD OF ROSES (13) is on the quick back up after finishing eighth at Sandown on the weekend. Much easier here and rates strongly. TOFF CHOICE (14) rates well on latest effort and off a good draw looks an each way chance here.
SELECTIONS: Vainly gets chance.

CAIRNS: RACE 4 @ 2:56 PM

Hard to go past the form BET ON LOVE (2). Scored with ease last time with game jock and has been a model of consistency. Hard to beat again. DELUXE ROCKER (1) has three placings from four runs this campaign. Has the claim and ready to win. ROTHMAN (3) resumes after five months and does boast a decent fresh record. Looks a top three contender. COOL ATTITUDE (5) placed second by a long neck last start when fresh at Mareeba and should race on the speed. Can sneak into the finish at odds. TAWHIRI (4) resumes and must be respected if he can recapture some of the good performances we saw during the last campaign.
