Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on September 20.
Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Grafton, Orange and Horsham.
GRAFTON: RACE 3 @ 2:10 PM
ULTIMATE MAN (7) has been knocking on the door with four consecutive placings including two over this course and distance. Drawn ideally in gate three and will be rock-hard fit for this. Looks the one they all have to run down. MISS PIERPOINT (9) has had a few chances but has placed three from five over this track and trip and Masuda has had seven steers for four placings. Has placed on all going and looks a genuine top-three contender. YES MARTIN (8) is better than his form looks on paper and can earn some minor money against this lot. OSO GOOD (6) will be at peak fitness now and is one for the multiples. KAWUNEECHE (4) has placed at this circuit and is best of the rest with the claim.
SELECTIONS: Ultimate Man to win.

ORANGE: RACE 2 @ 1:55 PM
CALIFORNIAN (5) was beaten 1L resuming at Nowra and the Sydney barn flies here. That reads well and fitter and drawn to advantage the mare is the one to beat. WE ALL AGREE (3) has the ability but has disappointed the last two. The winkers come off and he might be looking for this trip. CHEEKY NUGGET (1) has been close-up the last two and gets the 2kg claim. He's well in the mix. CLAY PAN BOOGIE (6) needed the first-up run for the new yard. He has ability and can't be ruled out.
SELECTIONS: With Californian.
HORSHAM: RACE 7 @ 4:30 PM
TSUGARU (8) hasn't been far away the two runs back and John Allen replaces the apprentice. He has plenty up the sleeve and fitter he can be winning for the State's top yard. PUCKAPUNYAL (6) is in good hands and the former WA galloper is ready to fire. Gets a low gate and the key jockey switch to Bates. Was in the market at Sandown (L) the latest and this grade suits. DROP THE MIC (9) brings good form to resumption and has a 2kg claim. He's placed 3/3 fresh and keep onside. PILL BOX (2) goes well second-up and has the handy 3kg claim. In the mix over the longer sprint.
SELECTIONS: Backing Tsugaru to win.
