Major metropolitan meetings are today held at Rosehill, Flemington, Doomben, Morphettville and Belmont Park.

ROSEHILL: RACE 9 @ 3:45 PM

QUINTELLO (13) walked in first up at Mornington before repeating the dose at Randwick last start when far too good. Second horse has since run well and expect that form to stack right up. Has beaten the handicapper with the wide draw the only knock. Over to you Tommy. SOLAR APEX (7) was a good winner fresh at Gosford and has now won four of his last eight. Key booking with Bowman aboard and looks to get every chance from the soft draw. NIGHT OF POWER (8) caught the eye late first up and with further improvement expected, he has to be included in the main chances. FRANCESCO GUARDI (12) should improve sharply second up. Next best.
SELECTIONS: Very keen on Quintello - just wins.

DOOMBEN: RACE 9 @ 4:34 PM

RUBIQUITOUS (2) pushed forward from a similar draw last start to race on pace and dig deep for a Listed win at this course and distance. That took his record here to two wins and a placing from three attempts. Progressive gelding who can do it again. ZAVABOOM (7) has been close up in two runs since a spell, finding the line nicely last start. Back in trip but gets the blinkers on to sharpen him up. DRAGONSTONE (3) has the hoof on the till after three placings in Sydney. Draws wide but his consistency can't be knocked. PUTONTHEREDLIGHT (15) didn't come on last start but ran on nicely fresh so is worth another chance. HAMLET VON SNITZEL (6) didn't miss by much last time following an Ipswich win. Makes each way appeal.
SELECTIONS: Rubiquitous to go back to back.

MORPHETTVILLE: RACE 7 @ 3:07 PM

A good RA Lee Stakes in store. DALASAN (7) steps away from those heavy tracks in Sydney where he was running into the elite horses. This is clearly the easiest race he has contested in a long time. Only issue would be if he's forgotten how to win. So well weighted. JUNIPAL (3) didn't quite come on as expected at Caulfield. His form is, however, still solid. SO SI BON (1) simply never runs you a bad one. This is around his perfect journey. CHERRY TORTONI (2) is a true miler and gives away a start but from the barrier might be able to sit midfield. Will get last crack at them. EXCELIDA (14) has very nice form around very nice horses. She just has to get the mile.
SELECTIONS: Keen on Dalasan with Cherry Tortoni the late danger.

BELMONT PARK: RACE 1 @ 11:59 AM

REVITUP (1) has won three of four starts and looks the goods. She has won two trials leading into this assignment and shouldn't be beaten fresh up. BORN AND BREAD (3) defied his longish odds on debut with a tough effort for second at Pinjarra on the Scarpside circuit. She gets in light after the two kilo claim and won't be a maiden for long. WORK HOME FRONT (6) has had the four trials which have produced one win and some minor placings. She wasn't ridden out much in any of these and gets the blinkers added for her debut. Follow any positive market leads. CAPO VELOCE (2) beat the second selection on debut and would have only improved further with the experience. Suited by the small field and should be right in the finish.
SELECTIONS: Revitup win bet.
