Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on September 21.
Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Wyong, Kyneton and Beaudesert.
WYONG: RACE 5 @ 3:35 PM
SHIHONKA (11) is a talented type yet to miss the placings from two runs, the latest in stales class before a spell. Back from a four-and-a-half months break and tuned up with a dominant trial win. Looks the one to beat. STUNNING TO WIN (7) is having second run back from a break. Was solid fresh finishing a 2.5 lengths fourth when the apprentice rider dropped the whip at Newcastle. Senior goes aboard and will strip fitter. Stablemate YUMI (8) resumes today following a recent trial at Randwick and can run a bold race. SHE'S SUPER (5) can sneak into the finish.

KYNETON: RACE 1 @ 1:00 PM
NORTHERN MELODY (11) is a leader who has threatened all three runs. Fitter for the first-up effort and Lane is re-united and he's currently striking at a whopping 30%. Fitter the filly will take beating around here. KALEIDOSCOPE EYES (10) resumed at Geelong sharply improved. Missed the placings, but it was a big effort and the in-form Prebble goes on. Fitter and tough to beat. AUREUM (3) returned in good order and then was caught wide after at 10-1. In the top yard and drawn to advantage will be much more competitive today. SIMPLY INSPIRING (5) missed a whisker at Echuca and is on the improve. Third-up and will go close. RESPECT THE WIND (4) has switched to a sharp yard off a plain debut as favourite. Keep a close eye on the late market.

BEAUDESERT: RACE 8 @ 4:25 PM
CORONEL (12) is the one with even luck. Overdue for a win and wound up strongly last time to finish fourth on the Gold Coast over 1200m when beaten 2.25 lengths. That was a tough race and has since proven a hot form race. Has the claim and a good draw here and looks the one to beat. MISHANI CONMAN (6) ran in the middle of the pack last start at Toowoomba but not far away. The extra trip is a plus and will be winding up hard. COME IN SPINNER (9) has been freshened since a ninth last time out at Doomben. Well placed here and can do much better. KATANAROCK (10) bounced back to winning form at Ipswich last start and rates a chance in this field. WHITEBAIT PATTIE (1) is back from 35 day let-up and has the benefit of a trial placing. Each way chance.
