Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for May 26.
Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Gosford, Bathurst, Pakenham, Kilmore and Northam.
GOSFORD: RACE 2 @ 12:35 PM
Former Kiwi THE MILKYBAR KID (2) is having his first run on our shores but did get up to G2 level across the ditch before the spell. Has tuned up for this with two strong Randwick trials and can measure up while fresh. BERGKAMP (5) draws the inside alley and gets 2kg off with the claim. Can fill the frame. RICCOS (3) is another to get some weight relief and can run a race while fresh. FORT JEFFERSON (6) best of the rest in a race with only a handful of chances.

BATHURST: RACE 7 @ 4:35 PM
ZOU LOVER (3) is third-up off the win and close-up placing when bet a 5-4F. Fitter again and is the one they have to beat. ASTROLITH (2) led and won the Maiden first-up heavily-bet. Has the winkers applied again and will get every chance to take the next step. RUPERTSON (7) resumes for the and the trials have been sharp. Won the only fresh outing and is sure to have come on. MISS BARTY'S PARTY (8) also resumes and has ability. Has a sticky gate but is in the mix.

PAKENHAM SYNTHETIC: RACE 8 @ 8:45 PM
MAUI (5) looks one of the best chances on the night. He hasn't won in a long time but his last two efforts at this track on turf have been very good. The visors go on and if he can hold his form he looks the one to beat. HELJAMI (2) has been freshened since a good effort over 2025m at Cranbourne. Has won a jumpout in the interim and should run well. HELMITON (3) was just fair last start but the run prior in stronger grade was very good and a repeat of that goes close here. STORM'S COLOURS (7) is consistent and a place chance again up in grade.
SELECTIONS: Maui to win.
KILMORE: RACE 2 @ 1:30 PM
PRECIOUS GAMBLE (4) led them up but was no match in run home when finishing second on debut. Will take benefit from that outing and should go close. CALM DOWN JAMAL (2) is a three-year-old gelding by Scissor Kick that is on debut. Sure to be well educated for first outing. Has to be kept in mind. LAST EFFORT (6) only seen the twice and has not been disgraced. Has had a couple of trials since last raced in February. Is worth keeping in mind. BRECHEN (1) has been sent to Melbourne to escape the Sydney wet tracks and is one to keep an eye on.
SELECTIONS: Back Precious Gamble to win.
NORTHAM: RACE 7 @ 3:57 PM
MYSTERY MOMENT (5) traveled to Albany for a soft kill fresh up and didn't let her supporters down, coming with a big finish and winning with plenty in hand. This race is the next logical step and she should go close to winning again. MIDNIGHT MYSTERY (4) ended her last campaign with a brace of convincing wins at Pinjarra, on both of their tracks. She has the perfect draw for her return and should be hitting the line hard. Watch for her late. MIRROR MOON (6) did not get all favours fresh up and will strip much fitter for this assignment. The extra distance is ideal and she commands plenty of respect. SCORPION STORMZ (1) looked the winner last time out before being bloused out of it late. He has yet to miss a cheque in two starts on the track and third up is ready to win.
