Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Randwick Kensington, Belmont Park, Doomben, Balaklava and Fannie Bay.
RANDWICK KENSINGTON: RACE 5 @ 2:45 PM
SOAMI (3) has returned in great order and strips fitter third-up. Savaged the line last start at Canterbury narrowly missing behind Turnstyle. Slight rise in trip suits and the booking of Hugh Bowman a positive. EXPLOSIVE TRUTH (8) was a dominant 4 length winner last outing at Kembla Grange. Drawn to advantage. Don't take lightly. ALWAYS SURE (4) returns to NSW for a new stable following two forgettable outings for Peter Moody in Victoria. Was a dominant winner in his last NSW outing on January 26 at Warwick Farm. Can return to winning ways.

BALAKLAVA: RACE 9 @ 3:50 PM
WYNTER LADY (11) missed a nose third-up at Murray Bridge making a ratings spike. Defied the market but she just has to hold the form to take this out. SUPER LOOKA (9) won the Maiden at Murray Bridge and then got too far back there from a cruel gate. Draws low today and can bounce with back with winning rider Holder reunited. CANIDAE (7) has threatened the last two in stronger grade. He's a decent chance back to a sprint. FORTUNE FOLLOWS (1) has been plainer the last two but the Victorian provincial form prior stacks right up. The late market will tell the story.

DOOMBEN: RACE 7 @ 4:13 PM
MAESTOSO (11) won a strong form-race comfortably at Rockhampton and then went back there beaten 1,5L. Gets a soft run and can bounce back getting to peak fitness. ADELASE (9) was quickly back to her best form placing at Eagle Farm from the speed. The mile is a positive progression and fitter she'll go close. CAMP RIFLE (7) runs along and has just gone down the last two. Draws to advantage and can't be ruled out. TYCOON BELLA (8) is an ex Victorian stablemate to Maestoso and she's flying for the new barn. Draws for a soft run and has more to give.

FANNIE BAY: RACE 1 @ 2:44 PM
TUGGA WAR (4) will be better for the two runs back for the leading yard and was equal favourite the latest. The former Victorian has plenty up the sleeve and the third-up record is good. The lift to the mile suits. TACITURN (3) is a speedy stablemate busting to win. Gets a 2kg claim today and should go close. ATONE (7) is up from Victoria and was just nudged out first-up this grade. The mile suits him as well and fitter he gets the chance to break a winning drought. FLOREAT PICA (2) didn't miss by far 25 days ago after an unlucky effort and is in the mix with average luck pushing forward from a sticky gate.
