Australian TAB meetings for today are held at Wellington, Gunnedah, Ballarat, Mildura, Ipswich, Cairns, Kalgoorlie, Mount Gambier, Devonport and Alice Springs.

WELLINGTON: RACE 4 @ 1:10 PM

The well-related Show Me Your Love (3) was a handy second on debut before being tipped out for time to mature. Has since returned in fine fashion with a fast-finishing victory at Mudgee. Draws the inside alley and Gibbons sticks in the saddle. Will be right there when the whips are cracking. BONDADOSA (2) shed the maiden tag last time out and will have taken a lot of confidence from that win. Top-three candidate. SOLOIST (4) has placed over this journey and is yet to put in a bad effort. In the mix. STARLINK (8) draws low and gets 2kg off with the claim. Not to be discounted. SELECTIONS: Show Me Your Love to win.

GUNNEDAH: RACE 3 @ 1:25 PM

Indicative (3) has been unlucky not to have won a race and resumed for the new barn with a lip defeat at Scone bet 13-4F. Draws for the run of the race and fitter can go one better. MASLINA (11) has been close-up the last two and deserves a win. A form hoop goes on and the low barrier advantages. HOKU (2) resumed well and finds a race in which he can build upon the effort. SELECTIONS: Backing Indicative to win.

BALLARAT: RACE 5 @ 2:40 PM

Mixmulti (3) impressed on debut when making up good ground to win narrowly. She'll take plenty of benefit from the experience and is easy to like here with John Allen going on. Look for her to go close again. BROOKLINE (4) wasn't far away last start in a stronger race when first up. She looks hard to beat fitter second up on her home track and warrants plenty of respect. Stablemate EAGLET (5) built on an encouraging debut effort two starts ago with a narrow win last start. She's suited up to this trip and isn't without a chance. Keep safe. HEARTS AND MINDS (1) did it well last start when returning a winner over this trip. He's heading in the right direction and is in the mix again. NEEDLEWORK (6) returned in encouraging fashion last start when just missing in a three way go. She doesn't win out of turn but could surprise here. SELECTIONS: Mixmulti can win again.

CAIRNS: RACE 8 @ 3:55 PM

Call Me Mo (4) made a winning Queensland and track debut when scoring easily in this class last time out. He stays in the same grade and is only up two kilo's in weight, making him very well placed to repeat the dose. On top. AVATEA (1) is improving as his fitness increases and was only run down late on this course last start. He should appreciate the extra distance of today's assignment and will give his backers a great sight for a long way. SUNSHINES (14) travelled to the Gordonvale picnic meeting for a soft maiden win last start and now that her confidence is high she is capable of figuring in the finish here. A wet track is a bonus. FEMALE OFFICER (7) racing well enough and only just missed last time out. She excels on wet tracks and is worth including in all multiples. SELECTIONS: Call Me Mo win bet.

MILDURA: RACE 3 @ 1:40 PM

Rock Up (6) is another decent chance for the potent Egan-Payne linkage. He brings strong form from New Zealand on a 42-day return. He's been gelded and draws low. The one to beat. Bywaters Road (2) is fast and improved again just missing at Naracoorte as favourite. Draws handy and is in well with Callow's 3kg claim. ROYAL COURT (7) resumes and has switched from the top Sydney barn. He placed at Gosford three-back on debut and went down a lip the latest at Newcastle over 1850m again in stronger than this. A winning chance if presented on-song. BATTLE TEARS (1) reaches peak fitness and would be competitive at best. SELECTIONS: Backing Rock Up.

MT GAMBIER: RACE 7 @ 3:50 PM

Excellent race. Clever Man (1) is the clear danger. Has placed in stronger open class races two of last three and the one in between was an eight length win here. Hit the line well when third last start at Casterton over 2000m and looks tough to hold out. BRIGADIER (4) closed off nicely when beaten 0.8 lengths last time here. Local who knows his way around this circuit and expecting a bold run. DYAGILEV (5) hasn't been far away, last start running fourth at this track. Looks one for the minors. SANTELMO FUEGO (6) bounced back to form with a third place run at Gawler after a less than encouraging seventh at Morphettville two back. Further improvement can see him in the finish. SELECTIONS: Clever Man for the win.

KALGOORLIE: RACE 5 @ 12:50 PM

Tahitian Red (3) continued his excellent form this prep when a dominant winner last start over the mile here, his first try at this trip. Has thrived since joining the Bowen stable and against a similar line-up is going to be tough to beat again. LINCOLN'S LAW (1) raced on the speed and looked the winner at one stage in the straight before settling for the runner-up cheque last time out over this distance at Northam. This is probably a shade easier so he is right in contention. TOWN HALL (6) settled well back and passed a couple in the straight but was left in Tahitian Red's wake here three weeks ago. Each-way chance. IT'S A LANCE (2) led but capitulated over 1400m at this track recently. Very fit now and Rawiller takes over from an apprentice. Likely improver. JOLLY LACE (5) found 1100m too sharp when resuming last start. This is a better assignment. SELECTIONS: #3 Tahitian Red to win again.

ALICE SPRINGS: RACE 5 @ 3:56 PM

Harpuna (2) looks hard to beat after taking out a 1000m contest at this track last time out by half a length. Out to 1100m is no issue and he'll prove hard to stop again. LIKE A HEARTBEAT (4) is coming off a last-start fourth, beaten 2.25 lengths, over 1100m at this track. Looms large. DEFACTOR (3) has been kept fresh for this since a disappointing fifth last start over 1100m at this track five weeks ago. Will be up on speed and run well. SALBRIS (6) won by 1.3 lengths over 1100m at Tennant Creek last time. This is harder but she's in form. SELECTIONS: Harpuna to win.
