Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Goulburn, Lismore and Ipswich.
GOULBURN: RACE 3 @ 1:10 PM
CHOICE DEEL (3) won the Maiden here by a space on the heavy leading all the way. Draws to advantage and can repeat with conditions to suit. MYSTIC VEIN (2) led and won the Maiden here and was in need of the first-up run at Gosford. Uses the rail and can make quick improvement. TIMPERLEY (5) came from back winning the CL1 on the Nowra heavy A genuine chance with a repeat. EUROSAY (1) win well first-up and gets a claim. Needs to lift to win.

LISMORE: RACE 1 @ 12:14 PM
Looks a suitable race for EXHIBITOR (11) to finally shed the maiden tag. Has finished in the top four at her past four starts including a close-up second at this track. McGuren has been in the irons for all four of those starts and sticks. Drawn to get the run of the race from the inside gate and looks the one they all have to run down. MISS PIERPOINT (12) has placed two from three at this track and will be rock-hard fit for this. In the mix. POWERWOLF (9) has been thereabouts of late and gets 3kg off with the claim. BLUE TONE (2) wasn't disgraced last time out and can earn some minor money. MCKEEGAN (6) best of the rest.

IPSWICH: RACE 7 @ 3:16 PM
RABBIT CLAUSE (3) just missed here second-up for the new barn and has Sydney figures far superior. Comes back in grade with a small claim and fitter should be taking this out. ABDICATING (1) was quickly back to his best winning comfortably at the Sunshine Coast. That stacks up and he gets weight relief. Reaches full fitness and is a serious player. PERNELL (5) is an Edmonds-trained stablemate to the top selection and also rates well off the near-miss here this grade 54 days ago. Has trialled well since and draws to get every chance. BELLICOSE (8) needed the run first-up but is a second-up winner with plenty up the sleeve.
