RACE 1

TUN O'REILLY (6) - Is a fit horse and gets a lovely run behind the leaders here from barrier No 2. If Matthew Kellady can get this horse into the clear on straightening he should be hard to hold out. Will be solid at the end of 1600m.

TUSCAN ARTIST (1) - Is an on-speed runner and will settle in the top two or three horses. May even look for the front. Got a soft lead two back in a Kranji D 1600m. He's a horse that should be given close consideration here.

PACIFIC OCEAN (5) - Was back to the 1100m last time and worked home well behind The Golden Goat, an in-form galloper. Much better suited back out to the mile here and although the horse is a maiden in Singapore, he looks a solid chance in this.

COME AND TAKE ALL (2) - Finished off nicely last time to only be beaten a neck. Is fourth-up into this and looks ready to attempt the 1600m. Should be around the mark if he can stretch out to this distance.

RACE 2

ACROBAT (4) - Has been unlucky not to win in two recent runs. Has put the writing on the wall and finds another suitable assignment over the same track/distance. Expect bold showing with even luck.

CARIBBEAN LADY (11) - Performed well last start when finishing third to Trapio. Remains at the same track/distance but will need the right breaks from the awkward alley. Worth considering on best efforts.

FIGHT TO VICTORY (2) - Showed good improvement last start when trying the turf surface for the first time. Remains on the same surface and is certainly worth considering with a repeat dose. Contender from the good draw.

SILVER WAY (9) - Performed fairly last start and has since trialled well leading into this affair. Open to improvement and will appreciate getting down in the weights from the good draw. In the mix.

RACE 3

SUN GENERAL (1) - Only performed fairly in his most recent run but he was on a seven-day back-up. Will most likely race handy to the speed from the wide draw and can certainly fight out the finish on best efforts. Consider again.

OCULIST (2) - Performed well two starts ago over the Polytrack surface and over a similar journey. Finds conditions to suit again and will appreciate the good draw with the claim. Capable of contending at the business end.

AMAZING MAN (8) - Has been game in defeat in his two previous outings. Remains at a suitable trip and will appreciate the surface yet again. Must be considered with a repeat dose of latest efforts.

HAPPY SAGA (11) - Experienced campaigner who has been knocking on the door in recent times. Will get back from the draw and utilise his turn of foot. Can benefit from a strong pace upfront. So include in the mix.

RACE 4

IRON FIST (10) - Is one of 6 horses coming out of the 1600m Open Maiden won by Shahbaa. This three-year-old put in an eye-catching run finishing strongly from the back of the field. The step-up to 1800m looks a big positive. Can be hard to hold out here.

ORDOS LEGEND (4) - Got tightened for room in the straight at his latest run. Another horse out of the Shahbaa race. That is a key formline here and looks the right lead-up race into this. With clear running this horse looks a strong contender.

LIM'S RYTHYM (5) - Has been a very consistent horse recently. Has placed in four of his last five runs and from a good barrier is set to get a nice run in the race. Hard to see him not running well again. Should be included.

ACE HARBOUR (3) - Is a fit horse and has recent 2000m racing under his belt. That could be a key point over the concluding stages when fatigue starts to set in on other runners. With Barend Vorster on board this horse is worth keeping in mind.

RACE 5

NOVA VOCAL (8) - Handy performer who brings strong credentials to this affair. His recent trial was ultra-impressive and looks primed for a forward showing. Will take beating on best efforts.

NATIONALITY (3) - Won for the first time in Singapore last start after a freshen-up. Well drawn to perform again and finds another suitable task. Capable of fighting out the finish stepping up marginally in trip.

RED DAWN (2) - Experienced campaigner who has been racing well. Finds a winnable task and his career record commands serious respect. Well drawn to race handy to the speed and can definitely give a sight.

SIAM SAPPHIRE (1) - Has been racing well without winning in recent times. Performed well last start and will appreciate the drop in grade. Needs luck from the wide alley but is worth including.

RACE 6

DRAGON HIGH (9) - Returns from a break of three months. Hasn't been tested in two recent trials but his form from last preparation lines up well in this assignment. Can surprise at value but needs luck from the wide alley.

MR COPPOLA (1) - Performed gamely last start when only narrowly beaten in Restricted Maiden grade. Has to carry the top weight but will find this race much easier and will appreciate the services of Barend Vorster. Respect.

AXEL (2) - Yet to break through but has been knocking on the door. Awkwardly drawn but that is somewhat offset with the claim of Mohd Firdaus. Remains at the same track/distance and must be considered yet again.

THOMAS DE LAGO (7) - Has been unlucky not to break through. He is better than his last run suggests and certainly finds a suitable race to make amends. Gets in well at the weights with Amirul Ismadi's claim and must be included.

RACE 7

ZULU WARRIOR (1) - Has performed well in recent outings and appears well suited by remaining at the same track/distance. Will appreciate the good draw and the claim of stable apprentice Amirul Ismadi. Commands respect.

STARDICE (8) - Yet to break through but has been knocking on the door in recent outings. Steps up in journey and grade but will appreciate getting in well at the weights. Worth considering with natural improvement.

O'REILLY BAY (6) - Comes into this affair as the fittest commodity with two runs over a longer journey under his belt. Leading apprentice Troy See retains the ride, so he must be included. Major player on best credentials.

MONTE NERONE (9) - Has shown good improvement in most recent outings. Appears well suited stepping up in journey to the 1600m but will need the right breaks from the awkward alley. Must be included.

RACE 8

STAR JACK (1) - Has the top weight of 57.5kg to carry here but this Japanese-bred horse has decent enough ability and looks suited up to 1600m now. Olivier Placais mounts and he's drawn a good barrier. Fitter now and will race up on the speed. Will give a bold sight.

ATLANTIC FOX (9) - Looks an interesting runner here having his second run in Singapore. Trialled nice enough leading into his debut on October 12. Was slow away and got onto heels early in that race. Could pay to forgive the failure. Can improve sharply.

ZA'EEM (7) - Contested the Singapore Derby as a four-year-old and although safely held there, that shows the stable does have a decent enough opinion of this horse to run him in that Group 1 race. Can rattle off a big finish when right and should be included here down on 54kgs.

KEY SUCCESS (3) - Is racing faultlessly. Won very easily in a Class 4 Non Premier three runs ago by close to four lengths and has been good in two subsequent starts. Has options from barrier No 5 and should get every chance.

RACE 9

RICHEBOURG (10) - Is a very talented four-year-old unbeaten in two starts. He has an explosive turn of foot and is set to take the next step here up to Class 3 company. Trainer Mark Walker opted for a trial between runs last Tuesday just to keep him ticking over. Impressed again stretching out nicely to win that as well. Good horse.

YABADABADOO (2) - Looks the danger to Richebourg. He's a smart galloper and proven at this level. Just needs a run at the right time from barrier No 2 and he will present into the race strongly, can win.

PENNYWISE (3) - May not have run out the 1400m last start. Has been brought back to the 1100m and returns to the Polytrack surface. Was a winner two starts back on the Polytrack in a Class 4 Premier. As a two-year-old, he did run fourth to Lim's Lightning in a Group 2 race. Must be included

SUN PRINCEPS (6) - Has drawn the inside barrier here which should give the horse a nice run. Does step up in grade here and may not has the class of others but is worth including as at least a place chance.

RACE 10

JOMO (5) - Could not have been any more impressive winning his maiden here two weeks ago by close to five lengths. He's a big animal and looks to have the engine to match. His time for the 1000m on the night was quicker than the two Class 3's. Looks as though the 1200m will be no problem and he should be on speed from barrier No 1. One of the better bets on the card.

DON DE LA VEGA (1) - Is first-up from a spell here but has been prepared with a recent trial. Has ability and will be up on the speed. Match fitness is the little query but with the claim of 2kgs for Amirul Ismadi this horse can't be left out.

STAR GENIUS (2) - Has drawn a bit wide but don't see that as too much of a problem for this mare as she likes to get back in the field anyway. Will be running on well at the finish and if the leaders overdo it upfront, she could be last horse standing.

HOWL (4) - Is a last-start winner over this track and distance. Was on the quick back-up there and landed good bets. Very fit horse that should get a nice run from barrier No 3 and will be competitive.
