RACE 1

COUNTRY QUACK (1) - This Daniel Meagher-trained six-year-old now finds himself in what would seem a very winnable race on his best form.

REACH FOR THE SUN (3) - Another that has slipped down the ratings lately and is holding his form well enough to suggest he can make his presence felt here.

DYNAMIC GENERAL (2) - Respected from a better barrier this time around.

TURF BEAUTY (4) - Plugged on okay last time out and is a place chance here in the opener.

RACE 2

JOYOUS (2) - Was nailed right on the line by a flying Blitz Power in a Kranji Stakes D over this track and distance on October 26. Should be at peak fitness now and looks suited dropping back to Class 5. Can go forward, may even lead, and will be hard to get past.

LAND BELOW D WIND (3) - Ran a better race last time when back to Class 5. Is drawn a middle gate and will have options in the early stages. Think the horse will roll forward. Looks a runner that should be strongly considered here.

LARSON (9) - Looks to be getting down to a winnable mark here and his recent runs have been solid enough. Gets Craig Grylls on board here and the four-year-old should be highly competitive in this open affair.

YULONG HOLY FLYING (7) - Looks better set up here back onto the turf track and going up 400m in distance. Last start was 1400-1000m and couldn't go with them. This race is more suitable, can be an improver

RACE 3

FIRE AWAY (8) - Prefers this surface and last time out was a sound third behind a runaway winner (Miss Dusty). Looks well placed here over an extra 100m. Strong chance.

LIM'S BLAST (2) - Backs up quickly here after a good fourth last week when well supported. Has a better barrier here and can once again show up nicely.

ENDOWMENT (7) - An interesting runner here, Donna Logan's 4yo was second in an Auckland Guineas and fifth in a New Zealand Derby and is a half-brother to Hip Hip Hooray (third in 2017 Saas Fee Stakes). He may want further in due course, but can go well fresh on the back of a winning trial (64.75).

SUPER DENMAN (10) - Holding form well and should be included here.

RACE 4

BOLD THRUSTER (3) - The rising star from the Shane Baertschiger camp lines up again after fighting gamely last start when narrowly beaten to the handy Zac Kasa. The son of Turffontein has the world of upside and finds another winnable assignment. Will take beating.

LIM'S LIGHTNING (2) - The Group 2 Aushorse Golden Horseshoe winner who has won again in two subsequent runs. Well drawn to take a handy spot and is capable of fighting out the finish over his ideal journey. Major player.

QUARTER BACK (1) - Performed gamely last start when only narrowly beaten over 1400m. Appears well suited stepping back in trip and gets the services of the in-form Olivier Placais. Must find another gear to be a winning threat but is capable of figuring.

AUTUMN ASSAULT (4) - Impressive type who won by a space of over eight lengths two starts ago. Somewhat disappointed in most recent outing but had no luck. Has since had a freshen-up and looks ready for a bold showing. Must be considered.

RACE 5

NOWYOUSEE (5) - This very progressive four-year-old has won his last two races and was second recently in a trial (looked good). Even if he is up in grade, he looks the type to take it in his stride.

SIR ISAAC (6) - Having slightly underperformed when last seen (sixth behind Nowyousee) and no reason he should be able to turn that form around, but the light weight here can be a big help to him. Not impossible to bounce back in this.

BIRAZ (8) - A solid effort in defeat in the Group 3 Garden City Trophy last start and a reproduction of that run gives him every chance.

CADET (10) - In wonderful form now with a strong win on Raffles Cup day over the useful Kratos, though the one caveat is that all his wins have been over 1000m and it is possible that the 1100m could stretch him slightly.

RACE 6

ZAC KASA (6) - This fellow is extremely well thought of by trainer Cliff Brown and last time out got the better of the talented Bold Thruster by half-a-length. Going up in distance shouldn't pose any problem to him. Bidding to win a first feature here with just 50kgs in a race that has been farmed by the light-weighted runners over the years.

RAFAELLO (3) - Stats will tell you Rafaello has a bit to do to win the EW Barker with 56kgs (only three winners carried more than 55kgs to win since 2002). He did, however, win a trial very impressively recently and is in superb form to go with it. Bold show expected.

MISTER YEOH (4) - A course and distance winner in this grade against his own age group when taking out the Singapore Three-Year-Old Classic in April in good style. He was a very good second in the Garden City Trophy last time out and if running to that form once again for Ben Thompson, he is a leading contender.

CLARTON SUPER (1) - Last year's winner when carrying only 51.5kgs, he is now rated 107 and well deserving of that mark given he also won the Group 3 Fortune Bowl in February. He has more to do this time around but must be well respected.

RACE 7

SKYWALK (2) - Will be much more at home on this surface (five Polytrack wins) compared to turf last time out. As well as the ideal racing surface, a good draw and the assistance of Michael Rodd, he has a lot going for him in this Kranji Stakes A.

MAXIMUS (1) - Eighth in the Korea Cup and has since won a couple of trials in preparation for this local return. He can race well fresh and is a course and distance winner on three occasions.

MOKASTAR (8) - A tough little horse who always runs his race more often than not and has a lovely light weight, which is a positive. Strong place chance.

AUTUMN RUSH (6) - Reunited with Simon Kok Wei Hoong here on the back of a good second behind Nowyousee last start. Should be right there at the business end of this contest.

RACE 8

MAGIC WAND (3) - The form of his close second to Lim's Lightning is some of the best on show in the lucky last and the step back up in distance looks ideal. Big player.

SUPER POWER (6) - Has a shocker of a barrier out in 15 (will come in to 14) and will need plenty of luck to overcome it. If he does so, he has to be a serious chance in this Kranji Stakes C.

MR EXCHEQUER (4) - Now has his sights lowered somewhat from running in the Group 1 Singapore Derby last time out when a very creditable seventh behind Jupiter Gold. He would prefer a little further but it's not beyond the realms for him to offer some nice value here.

LORD OF CLOUD (7) - Winner last start when battling to beat Quarter Back (runs in Saas Fee). Has more to deal with in this as he has 6.5kgs more to shoulder but is in good form and should be respected.
