Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on March 7.
Five TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Thursday at Port Macquarie, Hamilton, Pakenham, Rockhampton & Albany.
Pakenham: Race 8 @ 9:30pm
Lots of different formlines converging to an open race but keen on VILLA SARCHI (8). Has been racing well, the latest caught deep throughout over 1000m and coming from last on the turn. Drawn for a perfect trail here and looks hard to hold out. RIVER JEWEL (10) is racing well and will give a sight. Last start winner and will be prominent throughout. Will take catching at the slightly shorter journey. STREET SHEIK (4) is a smart galloper fitter for a bunch of trials. Super consistent and excels fresh. Could well blow these away if on song. TARWIN (14) made an impressive debut then was put away. Tougher here but sure to be improved. HIGH RATIO (15) is fitter and can improve sharply this inferior grade. SELECTIONS: Villa Sarchi looks hard to hold out.

Hamilton: Race 4 @ 3:00pm
SAMATAR (4) had no luck FU and then didn’t have the best of it again when finding one too good at Warrnambool. Ran a good figure for this and he is clearly the one to beat. UNO RUBY (9) is ex Weir and was better 2U when she didn’t have much luck. Gets Meech and the blinkers first time and expect sharp improvement. BODIDLEY (1) resumes and will use the low draw. Has shown enough to suggest he’ll be competitive at odds. IRACEBETH (10) debuts for the Purcell yard and keep the filly safe. SELECTIONS : #4 Samatar looks well set up.
Rockhampton: Race 6 @ 5:55pm
QUESTIONS ANSWERED (8) won the CL1 by a space resuming and is back substantially improved. Needs a good ride from Wiggins but will be fitter and the rise in trip won't bother. SHADOW VISION (2) resumes off city races in Sydney over a trip. Goes well fresh and has trialled well for the new yard. Rates well and keep very safe. VAN WINKEL (3) won the 55 well and it was deserved. The claimer will push forward and he’s a chance to repeat. SHENRON (9) got closer the latest and goes into the trifectas drawn the rail. SELECTIONS: # 8 Questions And Answers rates to go on with it, The in form Wiggins a key booking.
