Six TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Thursday at Hawkesbury, Moree, Pakenham, Wangaratta, Townsville & York.

Hawkesbury: Race 1 @ 12:10 pm

Northern Voyage uses the inside gate to hold the lead from Wild Impact and Prolongo. WILD IMPACT (5) closed strongly but couldn't reel in the runaway leader Baaed last start over 1800m at this venue. Sparingly raced mare who is certain to appreciate the step up in distance third up from a spell. LOVEISILI (1) resumed from a 32-week spell last time out with an eye-catching 2nd over 1890m at Newcastle. That was his first run as a gelding and the way he attacked the line impressed. Sure to prove hard to hold out with added fitness over an extra furlong. WATCH THE CAT (4) whacked away in 4th place recently over 2365m at Newcastle. Doubt he can trouble the top pair but is one for trifecta punters. NORTHERN VOYAGE (2) was poor last time. Exotics only. SELECTIONS: #5 Wild Impact with the extra run under the belt to defeat #1 Loveisili in a match-race.

Moree: Race 2 @ 1:40pm

Folkstone has drawn well and leads from a wall of chasers at a frantic tempo. COCKY ROCKY (3) improved out of sight last start when second up from a spell, travelling handy then proving too strong at the end of 1000m at Tamworth. Could be down to the G Ryan factor - he sticks today so must go on top. Promising filly CHARLOTTE'S HEART (2) is the danger first up from a 102-day spell. Rated highly when a close 2nd over 900m at Newcastle to kick off last prep. Winning chance if she recaptures that form. FOLKSTONE (1) is a star on the picnic circuit. Finished a close 3rd when resuming over 800m at Quambone recently. Has an outstanding strike rate so must be respected. Big gap to the next pick CASH'N'RUN (4). SELECTIONS: Thin form race so back #3 Cocky Rocky with confidence.

Wangaratta: Race 4 @ 2:30pm

FORT KNOX (2) is fitter for four runs in including a last start placing when edged out late after leading. Has since been sharpened with a hurdle trial and will take catching over the longer journey. FIRST WATER (1) has been close to a win in two runs this campaign and has the blinkers added for this. SUPER GIRL (11) has paced at both runs this campaign and will be winding up strongly. AMERIKANIKI (7) is further improved and looks suited at the longer journey. SPIN KING (5) is progressing well and in the mix. SELECTIONS Fort Knox will take catching.

Pakenham: Race 6 @ 8:30pm

A number are pacy and are capable of leading. SYMPHONETTE (2) wins this at best and forget the first-up run when she had no luck in stronger company. Was beaten a lip in a Flemington 70 prior and can win with the handy claim. ULTRA SMART (3) has been a round the mark in better grade and hasn’t been having the best of it. He’s a live chance. QUEEN'S AUTHORITY (9) runs along and comes off a deserved Maiden win. Expect that to stack up and she should clear the tricky gate okay. CHAMPAGNE COCKTAIL (1) resumes with a claim and watch the market. SELECTIONS: #2 Symphonette can win and go on. Like #5 Vongole a bit in Race 5 and will play a modest all-up into Symphonette.
