The Mark Walker trained Sacred Sham has been rock solid in both starts to begin this preparation and now appears set to peak racing third up.

Set to contest the fifth event at Kranji this evening, Sacred Sham finds himself in a very winnable Class 3 event with the added aid of Riduan's 4kg claim.

Only a recent addition to the Mark Walker stable, Sacred Sham was formerly raced in Australia under the care of Danny O'Brien.

A winner of four of his 15 starts, the son of O'Reilly displayed good ability and left Australian shores rated 95 by Timeform.

Kicking off over 1000m, Sacred Sham stuck on well behind The Big Easy, before only narrowly beaten behind Calculation last start.

His closing splits were very good there, suggesting he should appreciate the step up to 1200m.

Returning a Timeform rating of 86, he isn't far of his peak and remains open to further improvement racing third up.

From the middle draw he should receive a charmed run in transit and the engagement of apprentice jockey AB Riduan is a further push.

Still holding a 4kg claim, Riduan is absolutely flying, notching up nine wins from just 34 rides.

Already tied third on the Apprentice Jockey Premiership Table, Riduan is only six wins off the leader CC Wong.

Comparatively CC Wong has notched up 15 wins from 174 rides and is striking at just shy of 9%.

Don't want to get too carried away, but Riduan won't be claiming 4kg for much longer and on what we've seen, he is already the most talented apprentice in Singapore.

When assessing Timeform weight adjusted ratings, Sacred Sham possesses the best last start figure and if able to hold that form, he should prove hard to beat.

The Shane Baertschiger trained Kiss Your Song has finished second at his last two starts and looms as a major threat.

A winner of three of his 19 starts, he has also placed on a further nine occasions and has drawn to get a lovely suck run on the inside.

Much like Sacred Sham, if able to hold his form, he is sure to make his presence felt.

The Michael Clements trained Yabadabadoo wasn't beaten all that far last start and has to be included in the main chances.

A winner of three of eight attempts over this trip, he is more than capable on best form and with Duric booked, he ticks a few boxes.

Of the rest the Leticia Dragon trained IIt's Got It All appears the next in line.
