The Shane Baertschiger trained Invictus Warrior appears poised to break through, when due to contest the sixth event at Kranji this evening.
Formerly trained by Chris Waller, Invictus Warrior displayed fair ability, placing in two of four attempts.
He notably bumped into Purple Sector at his second start, before a narrow third behind Orcein at Warwick Farm.
Invictus Warrior left Australian shores rated 88 by Timeform and after dropping out in his Singapore debut, he bounced back in a big way at his second start for Baertschiger.
Now gelded, Invictus Warrior stuck on well to finish third behind Our Showcase and now appears set to relish the step up to the mile.
The wide draw is another tick as it should allow him to find the front fairly comfortably under Raquel Clark.
When assessing Timeform weight adjusted ratings, he sits clear off the back of his last start performance and given their looks to be more to come, he should prove very hard to beat.
This is a fairly weak maiden and with his even share of luck, he should be winning.
The Cliff Brown trained The Nutter has mixed his form, but is more than capable when right and with Rodd back aboard, he looms as a major threat.
He notably gets the blinkers off and rates well on his performance behind Magnum Force last start.
Should get into a good spot from the draw and is expected to make his presence felt.
The Stephen Gray trained Cause To Fly really caught the eye in his Singapore debut and remains under strong notice second up.
Formerly trained in Ireland under the care of Ken Condon, he is well-bred and on best form he has more to come.
The wide draw suggests he is likely to get a long way back, but should be strong late.
Of the rest, his stablemate Rock Me Easy appears the next in line.
Good luck and happy punting.
