Four TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Thursday at Kembla Grange, Moe, Townsville & Pinjarra

Kembla Grange: Race 1 @ 12:15pm

Castel Sant'Angelo has the pace to cross from a wide gate and lead. CASTEL SANT'ANGELO (3) has started in the red at both runs this prep, looking to have his chance on each occasion but only filling minor placings. Fought back well under pressure to finish a close 3rd over 1870m at Newcastle last start. Ready to win now as he gets out to 2000m. DE VALERA (4) contested the same 1870m race at Newcastle last time, working home well from back in the field to finish 4th, just under 2 lengths away from the top pick. Continues to find the line well - the step up in trip is a plus. THE SUMMIT (12) closed well to grab 3rd over 1800m at Hawkesbury two runs back then struggled at Canterbury recently when back in trip. Far better placed today so worth considering. BLACK SUNRISE (1) will be ready to peak after three runs back. SELECTIONS: #3 Castel Sant'Angelo ready to win as he steps up in trip.

Geelong: Race 4 @ 2:00pm

No designated leader. Maybe Enslaved takes it up. KENTUCKY TORNADO (8) is an import who didn’t miss by far resuming for the Waller yard and then had no luck off a wide gate after. Gets to a more suitable trip now and no surprise if she’s winning. LEXICOLOGY (9) has placed the last three and will be hitting the line again. She gets another chance. EROE (1) just missed here two back on the heavy and go on that. He draws well and is a hope. ENSLAVED (5) peaks and is going well enough to make the finish. SELECTIONS: This looked very suitable for #8 Kentucky Tornado.

Townsville: Race 4 @ 2:55pm

Cristovao is normally quick into stride. SPARKLY STAR (2) is a consistent type. Winning strike rate should read better but given he settles so fair back his fate is in the lap of the gods most of the time. Charged home to get within a nose this track/distance most recently. Ticks all the boxes and with a slight opening on straightening he should produce a sharp turn of foot. CRISTOVAO (4) is always around the mark. Shed the maiden tag at Mackay last time out. Can go on with it. CORINTH (3) commands attention on the fresh side.SELECTIONS: Sparkly Star. Backing to win.
