Four TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Tuesday at Albury, Cessnock, Ballarat & Mackay.

Cessnock: Race 7 @ 4:25pm

C'est La Vie has good early speed and should lead uncontested. C'EST LA VIE (6) was scratched from Taree yesterday to be saved for this. Led and was travelling sweetly before spearing off the track and losing any chance at Goulburn last start. Form at her two runs prior to that since returning from a break was encouraging, including a game 4th at the Kensington track where she led for quite a way. Has trialled well since the Goulburn mishap and with a senior rider aboard to stand over her today she looks a winning chance. HASHTAG VIKING (1) found the line well but never threatened the winner when runner-up over 1300m at this track last time out. Draws well again and with further improvement is a live chance. FREEDOM'S FIRE (2) has been safely held in a couple of recent runs over shorter trips. Worth one more chance as he steps up in distance. The lightly raced AADYA (4) can go in the exotics. SELECTIONS: This looks a very nice race for #6 C'est La Vie.

Ballarat: Race 3 @ 1:30pm

No designated leader and Sheet Lightning will most likely do the job. SHEET LIGHTNING (3) has just missed here the last two and peaks today. The in-form Meech rides from a handy gate and the gelding should be winning. BEAT IT JUSTBEATIT (1) also brings strong from this venue. He settles back and the extra distance suits him. ZEMMOUR (5) needed it resuming and comes to this trip for the first time. Draws out but his best would have him in the finish. VIENNA WOLF (4) draws low and has trialled okay. He can come back improved at odds.  SELECTIONS: Looks the right race for #3 Sheet Lightning.

Mackay: Race 3 @ 2:15pm

Early speed across the barriers with Jack On The Rocks and Cinematography prominent. TA CHANSON (1) is ex Sydney (Bjorn Baker) and brings very strong figures to his resumption for the Bannon yard. He will run along and can be winning if presented on song with Stanley booked. JACK ON THE ROCKS (5) will clear the wide gate okay and has been racing well without winning. Gets the winkers again and the shorter trip suits. CINEMATOGRAPHY (6) brings a string of placings and gets another chance fitter for the first-up run. ACT OF BRAVERY (2) was okay at his first run for the new yard since coming north. He will use the rail and will be improved. SELECTIONS: #1 Ta Chanson rates to win, but want to see the early money hold.

Albury: Race 5 @ 3:25pm

A good tempo likely from the big field, headed by Tantivy. AD FINEM (11) battled on evenly to finish 5th at Cranbourne last start over 2025m. That was a big step up in distance on the previous outing so the hitout will have done him the world of good. Racing well without winning but drops in class today. Early market confidence suggests he is ready to win for new trainer Denise Wise. SEPULCHRE (12) made good steady ground in the run home to get up for 3rd over 1650m at Moruya last time out. Very fit now after three runs back and is looking for this trip now. ROMELO (5) kept whacking away without threatening to finish 5th at Warrnambool recently over 1700m. Went over the jumps last prep so will certainly be better off today over a bit more ground. TANTIVY (6) is in good form but this is a huge step up in distance.  SELECTIONS: #11 Ad Finem looks ready to win.
