Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on August 20.
Three TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Tuesday at Albury, Pakenham & Warwick.
Albury: Race 7 @ 4:35pm
Cheeky Reward to find the lead from Flying Cyril. TREASURE BOSS (1) won an open sprint over this course and distance two starts back then just failed to cut down the all-the-way leader over 1200m at Moruya last time. In-form gelding with a 50% win strike rate at this circuit. Very hard to toss coming back to a Benchmark race. PACIFIC TYCOON (2) has been freshened up since finishing half a length behind Treasure Boss over this course and distance five weeks ago. Stats at this track and distance are outstanding. Sure to be thereabouts. CATHANDA (8) must be respected first up from a spell - she has won fresh in the past. Form last prep was rock solid including a win over 1400m at this track in a strong BM58. FLYING CYRIL (9) knocked up over this trip at Wagga last start under a big weight. Will take a sit today and prove hard to hold out. SELECTIONS: #1 Treasure Boss should be too good for this field.

Warwick: Race 3 @ 2:25pm
Landale can lead from Reset’s Son. HALLSIDE FANDANGO (1) was better at the Gold Coast and then won the Gatton Maiden by 3.5L as favourite. That reads very well for this and she can win again. LANDALE (3) is a capable veteran who can make the finish with a repeat of the Gatton run three back. I'M FAVULOUS (8) was much better the latest beaten 2.7L. Not sure where he gets to from the rail, but he’s one of the better chances in this line-up. RESET'S SON (5) peaks and will be a round the mark at best. SELECTIONS: #1 Hallside Fandango can go on with it. Like #3 Cristovao as well in Race 6 for the all-up inclined.
Pakenham Synthetic: Race 4 @ 3:00pm
Foxtrot Mo the likely leader. TONY (8) won a trial and was okay on debut before missing a neck on the Ballarat synthetic racing on-speed. He should manage the wide gate and is ready to win on the 7-day return. MISTER BALLISTIC (5) debuts off the rail for a form yard with the blinkers applied. Expect him to have ability and watch the market. SCOTCH O'CLOCK (7) is third-up and will be better up to this trip. Comes off the grass for the first time and keep safe. CHASE ON THE CASE (11) gets a wide gate but has speed and can show more today. SELECTIONS: This looks a suitable assignment for the improving # 8 Tony.
