Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on August 22.

Four TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Thursday at Hawkesbury, Moe, Beaudesert & Pinjarra.   

Hawkesbury: Race 3 @ 2:05pm

Mo's Crown will ping out of gate one and lead at a good clip. The talented colt ROME (8) is ideally placed for his return to racing. Started favourite and finished runner-up in the Black Opal when first up last prep. Two recent trials should have him ready to win. This won't be the easy kill Team Snowden may have anticipated. A threat comes from Godolphin's first starter MONTSERRAT (7), by Not A Single Doubt from a Zabeel mare. Trialled twice for two wins so looks to have plenty of ability. Drawn well and McDonald to ride so ticks plenty of boxes. MAGGIE MISS (2) is also in the mix first up from a long spell. Started favourite at both runs in the maiden prep for two near misses. Won a recent trial by a big space so looks ready to run. Kris Lees' debutante SPIRITUAL POWER (9) also won a recent trial - any market support should be respected. SELECTIONS: #8 Rome looks a bet to nothing each-way.

Moe Race 6 @ 4:00pm

No designated leader and Reliabelle may take the opportunity. RELIABELLE (6) deserved the 58 win here 19 days ago at this trip racing handy. He has big backing and looks well-placed to win again. KAJAANI (4) also brings strong form and is back a bit in grade. She gets a better gate and presents as a danger. MOSS 'N' BOLT (1) was tracking well before finding Flemington too tough the latest. He will go much better in this. THE ARMANI (11) will be around the mark at odds. SELECTIONS: #6 Reliabelle has the figures to win.

Pinjarra; Race 4 @ 5:10pm

Xaarmerit, Veebee and Point Of Honor are all capable of running them along. BLOOM AWAY (7) is busting to win and this looks the right race. She will stalk the speed and Pike takes over from the apprentice. DESIGNER PRINCE (1) was a bit plain the latest but the placings prior stack right up. He will use the low gate and is a chance. QUEEN KARNILLA (8) resumes at the middle distance and can improve off that. She can fill a slot. POINT OF HONOUR (4) resumes and will run along. Ex-Waterhouse-Bott and is worth a look at odds. SELECTIONS:  Keen on # 7 Bloom Away.
