Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on September 24.
Three TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Tuesday at Wyong, Moe & Kilcoy.
Moe: Race 1 @ 12:30pm
Ruski appears the quickest early of the raced. TOUCH OF PARADISE (9) is promising and resumes off a 2.3L trial win at Cranbourne. She brings strong figures and goes fresh. She will push forward and prove tough to beat. THE EGYPTIAN (6) resumes as a gelding and has also trialled well. Has shown enough to give him a winning chance. EXQUISITE BEAUTY (8) resumes and will find this easier than Flemington. In good hands, but needs a good ride from the wide gate. BLACK DRAUGHT (1) debuts from a low gate and profiles well.SELECTIONS: #9 Touch Of Paradise can win and there should be more to follow.

Kilcoy: Race 4 @ 3:15pm
The large field should run along okay, but not clear-cut the leader. SUBMISSION (11) found one better at Ipswich on debut surprising the market. He can only be improved and will win this with a repeat drawn to advantage with Orman booked. MRS PICKLES (9) debuts and was sharp in a recent Doomben trial. Gets the blinkers on and the low gate and a win won’t surprise. HEARTS LIKE OURS (4) was a bit flat after the nose defeat resuming and is better than that. Finally draws well and expect improvement. LITTLE ALBERT(1) draws the rail and will be around the mark. SELECTIONS: Keen on # 11 submission.
Wyong: Race 5 @ 3:35pm
Nothing jumps off the page as a likely leader. REGIMENTAL BAND (13) returns from a 19-week break that followed two encouraging runs during the maiden prep. Settled well back in both races over short trips and attacked the line powerfully on each occasion, beaten only by Libertini in the Listed Woodlands Stakes most recently. Kris Lees could have aimed higher first up but has found a nice race for this promising filly to record a confidence-boosting win. VAN GIZ (14) on debut for the in-form Bjorn Baker stable could be the threat. Has won a couple of recent trials in good style so looks ready to run. AKARI (8) filled a minor placing behind Libertini at the only two runs of her maiden prep, including a 3rd in the Woodlands (2.8 lengths behind Regimental Band in 2nd) at the last run before being turned out. Three recent trials will have her right up to the mark. FURLANA (3) is also in the mix first up although she has less upside than the top fancies. SELECTIONS: The class of #13 Regimental Band to shine through.
