Lim's Craft To Bounce Back

3 minute read

The Steven Burridge trained Lim's Craft was a real eye catcher last start and appears well placed to return to the winner's stall at Kranji on Friday night.

Due to contest the seventh event, Lim's Craft had his winning streak broken last start, but certainly lost no admirers.

An ultra impressive winner two back, Lim's Craft was forced to go back from the wide draw and was left with too much to do.

While launching late, Fame Star was already off and gone with Lim's Craft running him to just shy of 3L.

No question the winner is talented and Lim's Craft was easily the run of the race behind him.

A key sectional star, he is loaded with ability and now drawn the inside, he should take a power of beating.

While he can be slow to begin, he has raced on the pace in the past and suspect if he jumps well, he should be a lot more prominent.

In seven starts he has only missed the money once, which came first up when he had no luck.

When adjusting for sectional mark ups, he appears very well placed in Class 3 company and looks destined for loftier targets.

He notably started $3.40 last start, so not necessarily anchored with a short SP, here's hoping we get a decent price.

The Cliff Brown trained So You Too displayed sharp improvement back in grade last start and looms as a major threat.

Kept fresh (49 days), he is more than capable on best form and appears well placed with the added aid of the claim.

The awkward draw is a slight concern, however they may look to push forward and if that's the case, he should be there at the finish.

Last start winner Filibuster has also been kept fresh (42 days) and while not at her best on the turf, she is capable.

The fact Rodd sticks is a decent push and with even luck, she shapes as one of the major players.

Of the rest the Lee Freedman trained Excelling appears the next in line.

Good luck and happy punting.
