Flemington: Race 7 @ 3:45pm

Thought Of That uses barrier one to go through and take it up with the likes of Navarre and Relucent handy. Shadow Hero (1) was dominant when winning the Gloaming and then backed it right up winning the Spring Champion last time. Strong winner of that race and would only have to hold that form out to the longer trip, which looks like suiting, to be the horse to beat. THOUGHT OF THAT (3) also comes off a high-rating win last time. Dominated from the front and ran good time. If he gets his rhythm it will take a good one to peg him back. SOUL PATCH (2) won the other key trial. Strong late in the Vase and there to pick up the pieces if the two big guns fail. WARNING (4) is shaping as a strong stayer and while he lacks the talent of the top picks he should see out the journey well, as can LONG JACK (8) who had plenty in hand winning at Geelong. SELECTIONS: Think Shadow Hero proves strongest.

Rosehill: Race 8 @ 5.00pm

Another cracking contest with a field of 13 set to line up in the inaugural Redzel Stakes. Expect a genuine tempo over the 1300m journey. Pierata (1) didn't have the clearest passage in the Everest and appears much better suited here drawn wide. Effort prior in the Shorts was very good and he is sure to appreciate the step up in trip. Well placed on best form and should prove very hard to beat. TREKKING (2) followed up on his impressive win two back at Caulfield when really catching the eye late in the Everest. Beat home Pierata there and obviously looms as a major threat. DEPRIVE (6) comes into this off a new career peak and cannot be taken lightly, along with the ever consistent CHAMPAGNE CUDDLES (12). SELECTIONS: Very keen on Pierata.

Morphettville: Race 4 @ 3:12pm (AEDST)

Parliament has gate speed to be used. Firstclass Dreamer (7) has been running decent races without getting results of late. They've been in better depth races than this. He has a big drop in weight after the claim too. YULONG RISING (2) is bred to want every bit of this. Gets a soft run off the inside gate. SET TO CRUISE (5) does prefer this type of distance. Will need to find a spot pretty quickly. KORODON (8) did lead all the way over this course and distance two weeks ago. DOLLAR DOLLAR BILL (4) is now out to a more suitable trip. SELECTIONS: Firstclass Dreamer to be backed.

Eagle Farm: Race 9 @ 5:42pm (AEDST)

Metson and Park Chinois are capable of pushing forward early. Dreamreacher (12) was strong in the straight when coming away to score a comfortable win at this course last start. Lightly-raced stallion with good upside and has already put together a handy record. Gives the impression 1400m will suit and should be improved again third up. Hard to beat. BEAT THE BEAST (10) has put together a string of wins and seconds and scored at Sunshine Coast last time. That form deserves respect. SNITZ (2) could be close to a win after placing at his past two runs at this course while ERRINGHI SPRING (15) is worth thought after winning her past two while PARK CHINOIS (8) has each way claims. SELECTIONS: Dreamreacher has good upside. He can take another step forward.

Ascot: Race 9 @ 8:45pm (AEDST)

Arnie's Boy, Brother's Keeper, Sharpbob and Proxy look the main on pacers and speed should be genuine enough. Lady Sass (5) had every chance as favourite two weeks ago but is honest and can be around the mark. GO CRYING (3) backs up after a nice effort here last week at 1500m. Will need some luck but if he gets it this is a winnable race.  BROTHER'S KEEPER (1) boxed on nicely when resuming at a mile and drawn to be in a similar spot here. No surprise to see him in the finish. SCINTILLATING (2) and PROXY (10) are each-way hopes. SELECTIONS: Win bet Lady Sass.
