RACE 5 (6) INDY CAR: This raw talent is a work in progress but he comes from a stable renowned for their success with fast improving young horses and it's a sign of confidence that he is taking on this Group 3 race at only his third start. Recorded a big win on debut at this course and then had no luck in a strong 1400m field at Rosehill two weeks ago when he would have gone close with a clear go over the last 400m. It was an effort that has him ready to take on this class and distance.
RACE 6 (12) FIESTA: Quality mare appeals as a big value play in Newcastle's new million dollar race after little has gone right for her in her two starts since resuming. She has been an honest high class performer right through her career and with only 52kg from an ideal barrier she is set to run to her best.
RACE 7 (7) OUTRAGEOUS: Holds the necessary scope for improvement to take a step up from an Impressive last start Rosehill win over 1300m. He is already a winner over this course and distance and can repeat as he will get the ideal run from a favourable gate with the his top stable giving him every chance by taking advantage of a 3kg claim for apprentice Brock Ryan.
