Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on November 21.
Five TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Thursday at Scone, Moe, Gatton, Geraldton & Balaklava.
Balaklava: Race 4 @ 3:15pm
No designated leader and just a moderate tempo at best. TATALINA (1) is a former Victorian resuming for the McEvoy yard. She will race over further but has plenty of ability and has trialled twice. Vorster’s booking suggest she will be ready to go. CALYPSO STORM (4) has needed the two runs back in a bit stronger. She would be competitive if she could find here best and the gate and claim advantage. FANDANGO (5) hasn’t been two far away the last two and expect those to stack up. MINT TO BE (2) is up to this at best and he can improve third up. SELECTIONS: Tatalina wins if the market indicates she's ready.

Moe: Race 5 @ 1:00pm
Early speed across the barriers with Our Gladiator and Testino prominent. MARIAMIA (7) won well here in debut and resumes owning good trials. Draws low and expect her to come back better and prove the one to beat. TEMPO (5) has been close up since the Maiden win and keeps getting better. He will use the rail and can make the finish. OUR GLADIATOR (1) resumes off stronger city races and is sharp fresh. Is still top weight despite the 4kg claim but owns a trial win and has to be considered. TESTINO (2) is fast and missed the placings here the latest as favourite. Comes back in trip and should take more running down. SELECTIONS: With Mariamia if the money comes.
Scone Race 6 @ 4:40pm
Plenty of early pressure from Victory Vibes ahead of The Real Boss and Little Al. THE CRIMSON IDOL (7) is a consistent mare who ran on powerfully to score with a bit in hand over this course and distance last start. Tackles a similar race today and with added fitness third up from a spell has excellent winning prospects again. LITTLE AL (4) loomed up on the corner but found a few better close to home when 4th over this trip at Hawkesbury last time out. Steps back from provincial class today and did win at this circuit at the start of the prep so comes right under notice. THE REAL BOSS (3) found the 900m in open company too slick recently at Muswellbrook. Placed 2/3 at this distance and will appreciate the big drop in grade. SALAD DODGER (6) is in great form this prep and cannot be left out. SELECTIONS: #7 The Crimson Idol to win again.
