ASCOT: RACE 8 @ 7:50PM (AEDST)

Plenty of speed with Home Of The Brave and Hey Doc drawn wide. Misty Metal, Valour Road, Dubious and Vital Silver can be up there too. Trekking (1) is the horse to beat without question. Placed in the Everest then found Pierata a touch strong last time. That's the best form in the country at this trip. Draw is a worry if he gets shuffled back. Take stopping with clear running. FLIRTINI (13) has won both lead up races and her draw means she can get to the outside and run on as she's done of late. Go well. STAGEMAN (12) had no luck behind Flirtini last time and is a knockout hope on that. ENDLESS DRAMA (9) can win and HEY DOC (3) goes in too. SELECTIONS: Trekking to win. Each-way value 12 & 13.

MOONEE VALLEY: RACE 5 @ 3:20PM

Bill The Bee should look to get across from out wide and race on speed. Bill The Bee (7) has an awkward draw but nice return and he's good enough if things fall for him. Should have the pace to clear most of these and settle in the first couple. Ratings from last prep appeal. TALENTI (5) made a winning start in Australia, coming across with nice upside from New Zealand, and he did it with what looked plenty to spare on the line. Ideal race for him at the same course and distance now. MANHATTAN ARCH (8) comes further into calculations after scratchings. SELECTIONS: Win bet Bill The Bee.

ROSEHILL: RACE 4 @ 3:00PM

Good competitive affair with a number of promising types set to clash over the 1300m journey. Expect a solid tempo. Brazilica (9) was only narrowly beaten first up and with further improvement expected, she looms as a major threat with JMac booked. SUAVE (5) won well on debut at Hawkesbury before taking a good step forward at Wyong last start when simply too good. Steps up sharply in grade, but is clearly trending the right way and should be able to offset the wide draw by pressing forward. Hard to beat. COTERIE (3) hasn't been far off the mark and notably gets the blinkers back on. Has to be kept safe. VITESSE (7) continues to race well, next best. SELECTIONS: Keen on Brazilica.

DOOMBEN: RACE 6 @ 5:08PM (AEST)

Rebel King probably leads with Saracino, Lockroy handy and perhaps How To Fly from a good gate. Not so much speed for a 1000m race. Lockroy (4) has been kept fresh since stretching Valour Road here in June and if he can run up to that effort he will take plenty of beating. DON'T FUSS (7) fought on hard to stave them off here two weeks ago and drops 5kg. Wide gate no help but respect. SARACINO (10) signalled a return to form second-up with a solid effort behind Don't Fuss. Has claims. PROFIT STREET (3) loves Belmont and is a threat fresh while REBEL KING (1) could give a sight. SELECTIONS: Going with Lockroy.

MORPHETTVILLE: RACE 8 @ 6:10PM (AEDST)

Cannot Be Serios lands up the front. Tongsai Boss (4) gets back to his best set up today. He loves the mile and still ran well last time but was left flat footed. He'll be planted near the speed runners and tough it out. DEXTER YOU DEVIL (1) tried hard in that race. He needs the pace on which lets him get over the top. SECRET VEGA (3) got some reward for effort last outing. Must go into the multiples. CANNOT BE SERIOS (9) can get the run he needs if they run him here. SELECTIONS: Keen to back Tongsai Boss at the trip.
