Ten TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Friday at Canterbury (night), Murwillumbah, Scone, Warren, Geelong, Moe, Moonee Valley (night), Doomben, Albany & Port Lincoln.

Canterbury: Race 2 @ 6:45pm

Diamonds And Rust leads from Trieste at a solid tempo. DIAMONDS AND RUST (9) contested the same race as tonight's favourite Savaspur last time out over 1550m at this circuit, leading until the final hop and finishing a neck ahead of this evening's rival. Bold front-runner fitter for two runs back. Will be hard to reel in with Clark dictating terms. SAVASPUR (8) raced a lot closer last start at just his second appearance and battled on well for 3rd behind Diamonds And Rust. Progressing nicely and will be very hard to toss over a bit more ground. FLINDERS (6) did his best work in the straight before peaking close to home over the mile at Warwick Farm recently. Open to sharp improvement third up as he gets to a more favourable trip. OXIDIZATION (3) is very honest but it is hard to see her knocking over the top three chances. SELECTIONS: #9 Diamonds And Rust to lead all the way.

Scone: Race 2 @ 2:00pm

Dad's Boy to lead at an even clip. AUTUMN RAIN (1) has really hit her straps at the last couple of runs, winning with a bit to spare over 1600m at this track then over 1750m at Muswellbrook. Bred to stay so stepping out to this sort of trip for the first time holds no fears. MISS FIALKA (3) went from 1400m to 2000m second up but handled to challenge, storming home to just miss in a Bm58 at Port Macquarie. Useful mare who will be ready to peak third up. EXPIREDTIME (5) chased hard but was no match for a comfortable winner when 3rd at Taree over 2018m recently. Has a poor strike rate but worth considering down in the weights. DAD'S BOY (4) has been in the money at his last. SELECTIONS: Stick with the in-form #1 Autumn Rain.

Murwillumbah: Race 7 @ 4:45pm

They will go very fast in this with The Mont leading the charge. KEEN POWER (7) went around at a very short quote on debut last start over 1010m at Ballina and got the job done with little bother. Ran a faster time than the Bm58 on the same day so the effort was full of merit. Promising sprinter who can take the next step today. MECUM (2) won over 1010m at Ballina last time out, making it two wins on the hop. Flying at present but is yet to place in six runs at this trip which is a concern. Still hard to rule out. THE MONT (4) showed pace but couldn't hold off the finish of Mecum at Ballina recently. That run followed a 46-day let-up so strips fitter and could easily turn the tables. ULTIMATE POWER (6) motored home to grab 2nd over this distance at Grafton last start. One to watch for late coming off a hot tempo. SELECTIONS: #7 Keen Power to win again.

Geelong: Race 8 @ 5:20pm

Benatari can lead from Tall Boy and Sing Oh Danny Boy. TALL LADY (2) missed a nose on-speed on resumption as favourite and has more to give. Comes back in grade and the 3kg assists. She’s sure to take beating. LA BELLA COSTA (9) resumes off a big maiden win and owns a sharp trial. Is up to this and expect a bold run. VILLE CHANSON (3) just missed at Seymour and then wasn’t far away in town after a slow start and wide run. Gets a 3kg claim and could surprise. RIOTOUS MISCHIEF (10) resumes and a forward run is on the cards. SELECTIONS: #2 Tall Boy presents at an each way quote and looks a solid wager.

Port Lincoln: Race 6 @ 6:10pm

Storm Voyager gets the rail and opportunity to lead. STORM VOYAGER (1) was just outgunned this grade third-up and peaks with more up the sleeve. Uses the rail and keeps the inform hoop. CALL ME HERBIE (3) resumes in an easier race and had won fresh. He will push forward and is good enough. The market will tell. AVORA SUN (4) disappointed the latest but the runs prior stack up. She will use the low gate and a bounce won’t surprise. WILANDER PRINCESS (9) is in a canny yard and improvement wouldn’t totally surprise. JAAMINT (2) also has claims. SELECTIONS: #1 Storm Voyage is suited.

Doomben: Race 7 @ 7:00pm (AEDT)

The Sydneysider MANDELA (9) heads north for Team Snowden and has been prepared for his return two solid trials. He was a Randwick winner two back and has been gelded since last seen. Looks set for a first up kill. LUBUK (8) broke through with a 1.3L maiden win at Gold Coast last start. He deserved that after placing at his previous three and may be ready to go on with it. MAJESTIC IVY (6) is doing everything right winning both starts to date. This is another step up but has upside and is hard to knock. ROYAL HALE (4) last raced when winning at Ipswich in March but has trialled. Keep safe.  SELECTIONS: This looks a first up kill for #9 Mandela.

Moonee Valley: Race 8 @ 10:00pm

LONGCLAW (3) ran on hard but was pretty soft when winning by 1.5 lengths resuming from a break at Pakenham Park. Wound up strongly and extra trip a plus. Can go on with it on strong second up record. GREEN IVY (7) won narrowly by a nose two runs back at Seymour and was much better than it looked last time when winding up late when clear. Rates well and leading hope here. LEGENDA (8) is coming off a win at Yarra Valley and down 1kg from last run, can expect a good run. POSITIVE MIND (2) has won three of last four. Impressed last start and go on with it. PERSIAN EMPIRE (1) bounced back to winning form at Traralgon last start and rates a chance in this field. SELECTIONS: Longclaw has upside and worth following.
