Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on December 20.
Six TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Friday at Goulburn, Lismore, Yarra Valley, Kilcoy, Sunshine Coast (night) & Esperance.
Goulburn: Race 4 @ 3:05pm
Eurosay and Halliday Road will run them along at a decent clip. EUROSAY (2) was beaten a nostril in a 1200m Rosehill Highway when resuming from a three-month spell last start. Second up form reads very well. This won't be quite as tough so has to go on top. STAR OF O'REILLY (1) has not raced since finishing midfield in open company over 1300m at Bathurst on 29 September. Won a recent Kembla trial and has scored when fresh in the past so don't underestimate. BOBBY DAZZLER (3) drove hard late and just arrived in time most recently over 1100m at Nowra. Fitter for three runs back and ready for his first tilt at this distance. HALLIDAY ROAD (6) hasn't won in ages but has placed 6/11 at the journey. Likely leader and will give backers a sight on the limit weight. SELECTIONS: Happy to be in the #2 Eurosay camp.

Yarra Valley: Race 7 @ 1:30pm
PRINCE ZIGGY (2) ran well last start placing third at Flemington. In great recent form and rates a top chance. DANON ROMAN (4) finished fourth last start beaten 1.1 lengths at Werribee over 2000m. Is a strong chance to take this. RIPPLEBROOK (6) really dug deep when winning by a long neck three runs back at Seymour. Expected to be in the finish. THUNDER CLOUD (5) finished eighth last start, beaten 4 lengths at Pakenham Park over 1600m. Comes here with definite place claims. ROCK ON (1) finished midfield fresh at Pakenham Park when very big odds and tackles a longer journey. Looks suited and can feature. SELECTIONS: Prince Ziggy looks the one to beat.
Lismore Race 3 @ 2:45pm
Plenty of go-forward types lining up so the pace will be genuine. SALINA (12) went close first up at Ipswich then was very disappointing over this trip at Doomben last start. Freshened up since that run 37 days ago. Best form stacks up well so worth another chance in this weaker company from a low draw. DAZZLING CHARM (7) battled on solidly for 2nd on debut over 1106m at Grafton recently. Will improve over a slightly longer trip this time around. JUST COSMOS (9) has placed 2/2 when second up so can lift on a poor effort when resuming last start. First starter AMIRYKAL (6) went well in a recent Grafton trial and is worth considering if popular in betting. SELECTIONS: #12 Salina is ready to break through.
