Although beaten last start, the Michael Clements trained On Line appears well placed to break back into the winner's stall at Kranji on Sunday night.
Due to contest the eighth event, On Line remains at 1400m, after proving game in defeat last start behind Strong N Powerful.
Was just unable to reel in the winner there, but has since been kept fresh (51 days) and notably gets the blinkers back on.
A winner of two of his six starts, he has only missed the money once and has drawn to get a lovely run for the in-form Vlad Duric.
A sectional mark up last start, he appears very well placed in this Class 4 event and should be raring to go in his third run back from a break.
The Michael Clements stable is certainly flying at present, striking at 22% from his last 50 runners and 15% from his last 350.
From the middle draw, hoping he can settle a touch closer with the blinkers being applied.
While a talent, it's never easy conceding your rivals at the start if you don't have to.
Confident he will be even better at a mile, but this looks very suitable with the gap between runs.
When assessing Timeform weight adjusted ratings, On Line sits top and given he looks to have more to come, he should prove very hard to beat.
The Shane Baertschiger trained Global Kid was fair in two runs last time in, but creates plenty of interest fresh in just his second preparation in Singapore.
He has trialled well in the lead up and has drawn to get a lovely run for John Powell, who legs back aboard having ridden him in his Singapore debut.
No doubt he has to improve on what he has shown, but confident he can.
The Clements trained Iron Ruler failed to come into contention first up, but is much better than that and remains under strong notice racing second up.
His maiden win two back was very good and if able to run up to that level of form here, he is sure to be right in the finish.
Of the rest the Ricardo Le Grange trained Leatherhead appears the next in line, following a solid trial in the lead up.
