Gold Coast: Race 3 @ 2.25pm (AEDT)

THE CANDY MAN (1) has been flying since returning to Queensland recording three wins and a placing from four outings. Made it back-to-back Eagle Farm wins when scoring easily by 2.8L last start and returns to a course where his is unbeaten. Hard to go past. FUN FACT (6) fought hard and wasn't far off race rival A Man To Match when third here last week. That was his second placing from his past three outings and he looks close to another win. A MAN TO MATCH (5) is really coming of age winning two of his past three. If he can run out a strong 2400m he is a winning chance. PRIMITIVO (8) ran on for a close second at Randwick last start. Takes a quick jump in distance but should be peaking third up. BLACK ON GOLD (2) has each way appeal after finishing runner up at his past two in Sydney. SELECTION: #1 The Candy Man is flying. Backing him to win again.

Randwick: Race 3 @ 2.05pm

SPECIAL REWARD (4) has trialled like an absolute bomb in the lead up and creates plenty of interest in his first full preparation for the Kris Lees stable. Aaron Bullock makes the trip to ride and he rates highly on best form. Should lead/stalk from the draw and prove hard to beat. TANIKO (7) launched late to win well at this C&D last start and is clearly a mare trending the right way. Yet to fire third up previously (0/3), but still looms as a major threat. SOUTHERN LAD (6) only went down narrowly behind the former last start and measures right up off the back of that, while CRADLE MOUNTAIN (2) also holds claims on best form. SELECTION: Keen on #4 Special Reward in his return.

Flemington: Race 3 @ 2.18pm

THAT GIRL (2) has found one better in both runs this campaign so far. Ran well, just beaten by a good winner fresh, and then looked to have the race shot to bits before being picked off last bound here last time. Winner was probably in the better lane there. She's ready to win one. EXQUISITE BEAUTY (1) was hot on the heels of That Girl at Pakenham and backed that up with a solid win. Should run well again. PAUL'S REGRET (11) dropped away last time but comes back to 1100m now and think that can suit. Win two back stacks up. POUTING LIPS (4) could improve third up. SELECTION: #2 That Girl is ready to win now

Murray Bridge: Race 7 @ 4.27pm (AEDT)

DR DEPENDABLE (2) continued his long run of fine form when a close 2nd over 2046m at Morphettville last start. Has only missed a place once in seven runs at or about this distance. Winning chance. THUNDER CLOUD (1) has battled away steadily without threatening at his last two runs, both in open company at the Victorian provincials. Fitter for three runs back and this trip sees him at his best. BLUE BEAR (8) spotted the leaders a big start on the corner but rallied late to get up for 3rd in the Dr Dependable race at Morphettville a fortnight ago. Always thereabouts. EPERDUMENT (9) disappointed last start but can improve. Ten-year-old FLOW METER (4) is an each-way chance at his 126th start. SELECTION: #2 Dr Dependable for the win

Pinjarra: Race 9 @ 8.55pm (AEDT)

STATE ATTORNEY (8) enjoyed a perfect run when resuming and did it pretty easily two weeks ago. Draws well again here and the result could be the same too. FLOWER OF WAR (4) has been given no favours from the wide gate. She clung on for a narrow win as favourite over this course fresh. Fitter and capable with luck. REBEL YELL (5) was going along well in his first two runs back then fair effort back to 1000m. Likely improver here. DANNY GEORGE (3) and WHY CHOOSE HER (7) have claims. SELECTIONS: #8 State Attorney to win.
