Night Terror to cross and lead. TOGUCHI (12) was well supported on debut last start over a similar trip to this at Muswellbrook and worked home well to grab 3rd. Can race a bit closer from a better gate today and with natural improvement will be hard to toss. LOCHITA (2) also resumes. Placed at the start of last prep at Warwick Farm which is excellent form for a race like this. Wide draw fears somewhat allayed by the scratchings and wet track. NIGHT TERROR (5) also resumes. Placed 6/14 including a run of three in a row last prep at seven furlongs. Will be better for the run but in a race that drops away quickly she is an each-way chance. MARCEE (3) has placed two in a row and is next in line. SELECTION: #12 Toguchi to win.

Queanbeyan: Race 1 @ 1.55pm
LADY KIRKHAM (2) is a mare in form. Two runs in at Canberra have been full of merit. Improving all the time. Well placed by Jarrod Austin. Should take plenty of beating in this. IRISH BRIDE (4) won with a leg in the air here last start. Better horses here but that win was dominant and she'll run out the trip strongly. EAGLEHAWK (3) resumes for the new yard. Competitive in this at best and the claim helps. THE FANCYJONESGIRL (7) best of the rest. SELECTION: #2 Lady Kirkham to open proceedings.
