Seven TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Wednesday at Canterbury, Sandown, Moe, Rockhampton, Ascot, Oakbank & Launceston.

Canterbury: Race 2 @ 2:55pm

Good early speed from Sea Of Life, O'Mudgee and Rammstein. RAMMSTEIN (7) returned from an eight-month break with a desperately close 2nd over 1200m at Warwick Farm, leading until the last bound. With that run under the belt he can go one better. SEA OF LIFE (2) resumes following an eight-month spell. Raced just twice in the maiden prep, with a 3rd to subsequent G1 winner Prince Fawaz over 1400m at Randwick the highlight. Has been gelded over the break and is trialling well so a big return is on the cards. ANTONIO PADRE (8) also comes back from a break. Raced well on all three occasions last prep, including a first up placing over 1300m at Warwick Farm. Sure to be thereabouts. CATHARS (9) didn't have much luck when favourite first up from a year-long spell last start. Open to plenty of improvement. SELECTIONS: #7 Rammstein looks very hard to stop.

Moe: Race 6 @ 3:50pm

Deep Diva, Ling Ling and Queen’s Authority are all capable of leading. DEEP DIVE (4) led and spaced the Maidens resuming for the hot yard. Uses the rail and the colt can take the next step. BASTYAN (3) just missed in Adelaide first up in stronger grade. He’s back improved and is a winning chance. LING LING (8) posted a very competitive figure winning the Cranbourne Maiden and fitter can’t be discounted. SELECTIONS: #4 Deep Dive can go on.

Rockhampton: Race 6 @ 6:10pm (AEDT)

STRAWBERRY BLONDE (9) has been good in two runs this time in and showed improvement when a 1.6L third here last time. Should be nearing her peak third up and the extra 200m should suit. Well drawn and ready to win. VO RIVER GIRL (11) won her maiden here two back then made some late ground last start so she may be looking for the longer distance. DOUBLE EM (8) has had a series of close up finishes and looks capable of featuring in the finish. BON WARRIOR (1) has some claims off last-start second while CHANDON KISSES (10) could play a role. SELECTIONS: #9 Strawberry Blonde to peak and win third up.

Oakbank: Race 7 @ 6:15pm

Barrymore and Near Magic will be prominent in the run. PEARL BANDIT (3) didn’t have the best of it in town and then was much too good at the mile as favourite. He’s very well placed back in grade with the 3kg claim and the extra trip is no worry. BARRYMORE (2) has won and placed the last two in stronger grade and keeps improving. The 3kg claim brings him right into it again. NEAR MAGIC (5) brought strong form to the latest run but disappointed. He’s a leader and could surprise at odds. SHAKOPEE (9) draws wide but the 58 win 17 days ago stacks up. SELECTIONS: #3 Pearl Bandit rates well.

Sandown: Race 9 @ 7:30pm

There’s speed right across the barriers with Vigere and Eagle Ridge prominent. EAGLE RIDGE (5) runs along and brings two promising efforts to peak. He should find a forward spot okay and has the best last start figure presenting here. Looks the one to beat with the handy claim. GOLDIFOX (15) won comfortably second-up after a slow off. She has more to give and can go close. THE CLOSER (16) is also ready to fire and is back in grade. Meech will give her every chance from the good gate. AMMOUDI BAY (9) draws wide but gets Oliver and can build on the 64 win when he really motored to the line. SELECTIONS: Eagle Ridge looks a solid wager at the each way odds.
