Wyong Race 6 @ 4:25pm
Plenty of pacesetters engaged. MY FIRE PHOENIX (8) resumes in an ideal race. Impressive debut winner at Canterbury. Fourth to Dawn Passage after that and was then midfield in the Inglis Millennium behind Castelvecchio. She's clearly shown John Sargent plenty of ability. Two sharp trials in readiness leave no stone unturned. Should give this lot a run for their money. MOCCASIN MISS (6) is no star. She's a bread and butter provincial horse. Stuck her nose out to win her third race last start at Gosford. Gets in well with the claim and won't be far away at the end. TURNSTYLE (10) was spelled after breaking the maiden at Gosford. She's prepped up well for this, winning a recent W'Farm trial. SUGGESTED PLAY: My Fire Phoenix straight out.

Geelong Race 5 @ 3:20pm
Not a lot of early speed on paper. Rapid Ride, Il Divo and Firstclass Dreamer likely to go forward. QUEEN LEONORA (3) ran very well first up in town at huge odds after jumping awkwardly. She's a winner at the track as well as second up and looks well placed in this grade with Damien Oliver up. She's a good each way chance. GOTTALUVTRUCKS (9) gets up to this distance for the first time this preparation and closed off nicely late last start in town. Keep safe. SADENTE (10) turned around a poor run two starts ago to win here last start. Respect. IL DIVO (5) has the form at the track. Include. SUGGESTED PLAY: Queen Leonora appeals second up.
Geraldton Race 3 @ 5.50pm AEDT.
Lead Guitar to use the inside barrier to advantage and lead. SYRIANOS (7) put the writing on the wall last start when he drove hard late but just missed the bob over 1213m at this track. Continues to improve deep into his maiden campaign and is ready to win now over a little more ground. GOT YOU COVERED (6) has switched stables since failing on debut at Moora in October 2018. Trialling well so a bright return would not surprise. CHARGED FLAME (8) comes here off a six-week let-up following a fast-finishing 3rd over the mile at this track. Has form at this trip so cannot be treated lightly. MISS ZEDEL (10) impressed on debut last start and can play a big role with natural improvement. SUGGESTED PLAY: #7 Syrianos is ready to win.
Great Western Race 4 @ 2:55pm
English Gambler and Our Dexter may be the par to make the pace. SOULSANA (4) brings strong form to peak and looks ready to post his first Victorian win. Goes wet and dry and Ben Allen riding first time is a strong pointer. NEPTUNE'S WINK (7) impressed winning a strong form maiden comfortably and then held that figure in stronger up in trip. This suits better and she is feared with the blinkers applied first time. OUR DEXTER (9) is fast and continues to race well. Is on a 5-day return and has won the trip. CELESTIAL STORY (5) has been knocking on the door and gets another chance. SELECTION: A sense of timing about #4 Soulsana.
Beaudesert Race 2 @ 2:15pm
A few of the wide drawn race handy and the tempo should be okay. ZAMZARA (12) brings very strong form to peak and two back was beaten a nose at Doomben. Draws well and the mile looks ideal now. Gets back and just needs a good ride to be winning. OUTBACK GLADIATOR (1) jumps in trip, but he finished it off well placing at the Sunshine Coast and looks a hope with luck from the wide gate. THE GOOD THE BAD (13) was better at Doomben 10 days ago is capable of finding the placings. JIMMY NEUTRON (2) should be around the mark. SELECTION: Looks the right race for #12 Zamzara.
Murray Bridge Race 2 @ 2:30pm
Kanzo and Bujolass may be the pair to run them along. MONRAAJ (3) is an improver bringing strong form to peak. Draws to advantage and rates to have these covered. KANZO (1) is a stablemate who managed a distant placing here 25 days ago. Is a place hope with the claim. ORANGES (8) placed well-backed second-up and the longer trip suits. She can use the low gate and make the finish. BIG TOP (6) is a market watch on resumption. SELECTION: Keen on # 3 Monraaj.
