Five TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Friday at Bathurst, Canterbury, Taree, Bowen & Alice Springs.

Canterbury: Race 7 @ 9:15pm

Coup De Main will find the lead and run them along at a good clip. COUP DE MAIN (7) is a lightly raced Canberra five-year-old resuming. Fresh record reads two wins and two placings from four attempts. Respect the stable decision to come straight town - must be pleasing them at home. Bowman to ride adds to the confidence. Should find the front and be very hard to catch. ACCELERATO (6) is a consistent gelding who has placed at both runs this prep, most recently a fast-finishing 3rd over 1100m at this circuit. Placed 3/3 third up and his best form comes at or around this distance. ALL FROM SCRAP (1) loomed up to win at the furlong but was overwhelmed late and settled for 2nd over this course and distance last time out. Genuine gelding who invariably races well here. COOLOTTA (2) ran a better race last start at Kembla and will be peaking third up. SELECTIONS: Keen on #7 Coup De Main first up.

Bathurst: Race 1 @ 1:20pm

No pace on paper - one of the jocks will need some initiative. PROTOTYPE (8) has been freshened up and changed stables since running a respectable 3rd over 1400m at Newcastle eight weeks ago. Finds a very weak maiden today and that provincial form should stack up very well. DISCO DIVA (5) looked to have every chance but dropped right out over 1450m at Muswellbrook last start. Placed the run before and may return to that sort of form with the blinkers going on. BELLA RUBINO (4) didn't fire first up over 1200m on a heavy track at Nowra recently. Fitter for that run and better placed on top of the ground. GOGH FOX (2) found the line well at the end of 1000m when resuming. In the mix as he steps up in distance. SELECTIONS: #8 Prototype looks better than these - back her to win.

Taree: Race 4 @ 2:50pm

Good early pace from Lady Sebago and Rockness Angel. TOGUCHI (12) has impressed at both starts to date over slightly shorter trips, the most recent effort a very close 2nd over 1257m at this circuit. Finding the line with purpose so from a nice gate today she looks ready to break through. ROCKNESS ANGEL (10) returned from an 18-week break with an even 4th over 1200m at Gosford last time out. Placed second up last prep when trained out of Lindsay Park. Likely improver as she steps out over more ground. STOOGE (14) showed pace but just wilted close to home over 1000m at this track when resuming from a spell recently. Placed 2/2 second up so expect a big run this afternoon. HIBERN (9) is racing well without winning. Each-way chance only with a wide draw to overcome. SELECTIONS: Like #12 Toguchi.
