Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on February 11.
Three TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Tuesday at Scone, Warrnambool & Toowoomba.
Scone: Race 7 @ 5:30pm
Speed galore in the last headed by Institution. FROZEN IN TIME (3) is a promising filly resuming from a 23-week spell. In the money at all four runs during the maiden campaign, with a win over this trip at Muswellbrook the highlight. Trialled well at Newcastle recently so looks ready for a winning return in a pretty modest lineup. CRIMSON ROSE (9) is the threat first up from a spell. Failed when resuming last prep but that was over 1200m which is not her pet distance. Form over 1000m last time in work was good, with two placings from as many runs. Expected to go well, with the engagement of G Ryan significant. VOYAGES (6) will be better for this run and he needs more ground but with blinkers on while fresh he could sneak a minor prize. Distance specialist INSTITUTION (11) has each-way claims. SELECTIONS: #3 Frozen In Time looks better than these and should win first up.

Warrnambool: Race 4 @ 3:00pm
Wando Bel and Unsure may provide the early speed. BARLEY HUNTER (2) missed a lip here resuming for the new yard and didn’t have the best of it. Needs a good ride but is clearly the one to beat on a 7-day return. SWEET VENOM (8) resumes and has placed 3/6. She runs along and has genuine claims if produced on song. ARTWORKS (1) is a stablemate to the top pick and has switched yards on a 26 day return. Draws well and can make the finish at best. WANDO BEL (5) is fast and can’t be ruled out in stronger. SELECTIONS: Looks the right race for #2 Barley Hunter.
