Jonah Bolden is joining fellow Australian big man Aron Baynes at the Phoenix Suns.

Bolden's NBA career took a hit last week when the Philadelphia 76ers waived him.

The Suns, hit by a string of injuries including Baynes, signed Bolden on a 10-day contract, league sources told The Athletic on Wednesday.

Australians in NBA had a tumultuous week with the 76ers cutting forward/centre Bolden and the Dallas Mavericks axing Australian sharpshooter Ryan Broekhoff.

Broekhoff is expected to be picked up by another NBA team or sign with a European club.
