Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on February 26.
Seven TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Wednesday at Gosford, Sandown, Terang, Toowoomba, Ascot, Penola & Launceston.
Gosford: Race 6 @ 4:25pm
A strong tempo assured with Successor the likely leader. SURREAL STEP (3) resumes and has transferred from Lindsay Park to Team Hawkes. Has raced well in very good company in the past but always come up just a little short. Gelded over the break and looks ready for a big prep following a smart recent trial. MOCCASIN MISS (6) is a consistent mare but rarely wins. Raced handy and battled on gamely to be beaten under a length over this course and distance last time out. Yet to miss a place in four runs here so appeals greatly on an each-way basis. BRAZILICA (8) has struggled in a couple of longer races in town of late. Placed 2/2 at six furlongs so look for a return to form back at the provincials. HOWRA (7) is the winner of 2/4 at today's journey. Just missed at Kembla last start and could take this out without surprising. SELECTIONS: Keen on #3 Surreal Step first up.

Terang: Race 6 @ 4:10pm
Statement Of Faith may lead. STATEMENT OF FAITH (5) resumed in town in stronger and has a tough run. In a top yard and shown a bit. Is much better suited today and is the one to beat with the two main dangers scratched. HIGHWAY TO SUCCESS (2) continues to improve and rates well off the latest at a lesser venue. COBRA (6) disappointed in the same race, but was good the one before and will be fitter. GROGANS ANVIL (1) needed it first up in stronger and has more to give. He can improve quickly. SELECTIONS: Looks a suitable assignment for #5 Statement Of Faith.
Sandown: Race 3 @ 4:40pm
Good speed with Dothraki King a likely leader. MEMPHIS ROCK (6) was on-speed missing a lip resuming at Flemington bringing very strong figures from better races. He will use the low gate and is clearly the one to beat. DOTHRAKI KING (4) presents third-up off a win and placing. Keeps improving and Oliver replaces the apprentice. Promising and will go well. SAGARRA (1) drops plenty in grade off the last two and rates right up to this. Gets the handy claim and a win wouldn't surprise. IKNEWSHEWASMINE (5) is quick and deserved the Maiden win when heavily supported. Draws to advantage and the 3kg claim brings her right into it. SELECTIONS: Keen on #6 Memphis Rock.
