Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on March 11.
Five TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Wednesday at Warwick Farm, Sandown, Doomben, Bordertown & Ascot.
Sandown: Race 2 @ 3:30pm
Tycoon Bella can lead a good speed. PEAK (1) was just rolled resuming in stronger grade off a career best win at Newcastle. Draws to advantage and the claim is handy. Promising and will go close. MEMPHIS ROCK (3) comes to peak off two solid placings. Was favourite here the latest and has more to give. He’s a danger along with TYCOON BELLA (2) who resumes in easier and has won 2/3. The claim assists and expect her to be further improved. FINAL MAN (6) can build on the first-up win and keep onside. SELECTION: After Race 1, this is a very competitive program with plenty of value around for the better chances. SELECTIONS: #1 Peak appeals most here.

Warwick Farm: Race 2 @ 2:10pm
Good Stock from a wide gate can slide over and take it up. ASTRALIS (5) was a moral beaten last start at Canterbury over 1250m. Squeezed out at the start then couldn't get clear until the final 100m, flying late to miss by a head. Cherry-ripe after two runs back and will enjoy getting out to this trip. GOOD STOCK (2) worked hard to find the lead then did a great job to kick on and be beaten just 0.4 lengths when resuming over 1250m at Canterbury recently. Sure to prove hard to peg back this time. JOLIETTE (6) has been racing well all prep, including a last start over 1200m at Canterbury when things didn't all go her way. Gets to this trip for the first time which might be the key. KINANE (3) has transferred to the Waller stable since just missing on debut at Bendigo in October. Trialling well and worth monitoring. SELECTIONS: #5 Astralis to atone for the last start defeat.
Bordertown: Race 3 @ 2:35pm
Good pace and any number capable of leading. LA VITA (4) has been threatening in much stronger grade. Gets the rail and the handy claim and is the one to beat. LANCASTER SOUND (1) peaks seeking the hat-trick off comfortable wins. Runs along and will improve again. KILOWATT (3) led on the heavy and missed a lip in much stronger in town and then was very plain at Bordertown. In and out but has the ability and runs along. MAGNETIC EDGE (2) resumes and is a fresh winner to keep safe. SELECTIONS: #4 La Vita at the better odds to beat the early favourite.
Doomben: Race 6 @ 5:25pm
They should run along okay but not clear the lead. PROSPECTUS (6) won the Maiden by a space resuming and then was wide and placed after heavily-backed. Gets Fradd today and a low gate and should be winning for the Waller yard. FLYING PRETTY (12) has just missed the last three at Grafton and they stack right up. Looks a live hope in light with the 3kg claim. NITROGLYCERINE (3) led and won the Maiden here by a space. Gets the claim and won’t be far away. BUZZER BEATER (7) may be next best at odds. SELECTIONS: A lot of justified shorties across the program. #6 Prospective should handle the conditions and is the bet if we get black odds.
