Six TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Thursday at Goulburn, Gunnedah, Pakenham, Warrnambool, Beaudesert & Pinjarra.

Goulburn: Race 2 @ 2:25pm

Low-flying here with Ghost Town and Vox Pop going very fast. NO DOUBT A STAR (3) made it four minor placings from six career runs when she worked home okay to finish 3rd to a tearaway winner over this course and distance last start. Draws a better gate today and is ready to win. WEGEE LOU (6) tried hard and was only beaten 1.2 lengths into 3rd place on debut over 1200m at Wagga recently. Promising mare who should run well again although coming back in trip doesn't look ideal. VOX POP (4) resumes from an 11-month spell. Failed to fire in the two runs of his maiden campaign but has been gelded so might be worth another chance. GHOST TOWN (2) tired at the end of 1200m at Moruya last time out. Was runner-up over this course and distance on debut the start before - can improve coming back to five furlongs. SELECTIONS: Very keen on #3 No Doubt A Star.

Gunnedah: Race 4 @ 4:05pm

A truly run mile coming up with Cavitation the probable leader from Spirit Of Elijah. SPIRIT OF ELIJAH (2) followed a tough all-the-way win over 1500m at Muswellbrook two runs back with a very close 6th at Mudgee last time when switched back to 1400m. Rock-hard fit and looking for the mile now. MORE SPICE (4) made it two wins from her last three runs when she just did enough to score in a Class 1 over this distance at Scone last time out. Progressive mare with strong claims again out of an ideal gate. RADIANT CHOICE (1) found the 1300m at Armidale a bit sharp last start but worked home well to finish midfield. Placed 2/3 at this distance - improvement anticipated. CATALANIC (6) was handed a tough first up assignment and struggled. Can do better with that run under the belt. SELECTIONS: #2 Spirit Of Elijah is great each-way value.

Warnambool: Race 8 @ 7:00pm

Goodbuy can lead and there will be a number on his tail. CHAMPAGNE FRIDAY (11) just missed resuming at Sale matching his best figure. The rise in trip is ideal and he has the pace to manage the wide gate. In a top yard and looks the one to beat. IRISH DELIGHT (9) missed a nose the latest running a career peak. Races handy and is a genuine hope. LORD OF THE TURF (3) brought strong form to Terang and had a tough run as favourite. Will hit the line and should be right in it. SWISS DESIGN (5) keeps Yendall and is better than the formline looks. First time the trip and should appreciate it. SELECTIONS: Backing # 11 Champagne Friday at the each way odds. Races here in preference to Kyneton Friday, where she looked well-placed.

Pakenham: Race 8 @ 9:30pm

Whipcracker Way can lead from Ping Ping. TREATY OF SEVILLE (5) will race handy and raced favourite first-up in stronger, but found Phoenix Global too good. He has plenty up the sleeve and this looks very winnable. WHIPCRACKER WAY (3) had trialled well and led and won the Maiden easily on debut. Draws to advantage and looks immediately capable of taking the next step. BRAVE ENOUGH (4) comes to peak and this is easier than Sandown. In good hands and keep well onside. MOSHKENNY (2) won the Maiden easily on debut despite being wide. He gets the chance to go on. SELECTIONS: This looks a nice progression for # 5 Treaty Of Seville.
