Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on April 6.

Three TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Monday at Scone, Queanbeyan & Ballarat.  

Scone: Race 3 @ 2:55pm

Big field but no recognised leader engaged - jockey tactics vital. A couple of key scratchings open this race right up for TAKE TO HEART (7). Spotted the leaders too much start but knuckled down late to finish a close 6th over 1300m at Taree recently. Fitter for two runs back and is sure to prove hard to hold out as she progresses to the mile. VALUE ABBEY (10) was hard to miss last start over 1400m here, thundering home late to just miss. This looks a lovely race third up over an extra furlong. OLYMPIC FAME (11) spotted the leaders a big start before launching late to grab 3rd in a hot form race at Coonamble last start over the mile. Will relish the long run home today and is a threat. TESSA BURRITO (8) is open to sharp improvement second up from a long break. SELECTIONS: #7 Take To Heart will be very hard to beat.

Queanbeyan: Race 7 @ 4:25pm 

Will scoot along in this. CONCRETE (1) is a good horse on his day. He bombed the start and should've won here most recently. His form this prep has been good in better races. If he can begin on terms then his class will go a long way. OLIFANTS (2) has never been in better touch. Winning chances take a hit due to the wide alley but he loves it here. Will have admirers. TYCOON TILY (10) wasn't beaten far in a deep race at the Sapphire Coast last start. She'll get every chance from the low draw. DESTINY'S DEE DAY (7) best of the rest. SELECTIONS: Concrete straight out.
