RANDWICK: RACE 4 @ 1:20PM

Arguably one of the races of the day with a host of different angles. Not a great deal of speed on paper, do expect Rule The World to cross from out wide. Subpoenaed (2) clearly brings the best form just whether she can finally take up a position from the inside draw otherwise it could be ugly. It's hard enough being last, let alone being last and on the fence behind a wall of horses. Dolan will have to weave some magic, but if he can, she looks hard to beat. OPACITY (8) won her last three prior to a break and while she will be better over further, she comes here fresh with just the sole trial and Bowman is booked. Has to be kept safe. CELESTIAL FALLS (9) is another who will be better over further, but still has to be kept safe in her return. SELECTIONS: Sticking with Subpoenaed, but she'll need some luck.

CAULFIELD: RACE 6 @ 2:55PM
Mask Of Time goes forward and think Hang Man can be handy in the blinkers. Southern Rock can show pace but they may look to hold him up at his Australian debut. Hang Man (8) has placed both starts this time in, the latest finishing second over 1700m at Flemington. Should be fitter again and has a great platform to peak third up with the blinkers on. Should be able to settle handy from the good draw and looks mighty hard to beat. SO SI BON (2) broke through impressively last time. Not the most reliable character but in the right races he is very solid and this is the right sort of race again. SOUTHERN ROCK (10) returns from the paddock seeking the hat trick today after back to back wins to end last prep in the UK. Capable of going close on his overseas ratings and betting around him will be very interesting. MAHAMEDEIS (7) ran below expectations last time but he has a good record at this distance including three wins and he can quickly improve today. SELECTIONS: Hang Man has a nice sense of timing about him blinkered third up.

DOOMBEN: RACE 2 @ 11:55am

Galtero to cross and lead and could dictate in front. Galtero (2) is close to a win having placed at three of his past four starts. Led and boxed on to be beaten less than a length when runner up last start. Three time winner at this course. May be able to control this and looks ready to strike. ADVANCE WARNING (3) went back to last but did find the line well last time. Suited up in trip having won his only previous attempt at this distance and can do much better third up. WATCH THE CAT (6) jumps up in distance but may be looking for it and is racing well. SPEAKING BAD (8) ran on to get within 2.2L off the winner last start after placing first up. Ready to peak. PARIS CRYSTAL (11) was an easy winner last start. This is harder but she could progress again. SELECTIONS: Galtero gets his chance to win.

MORPHETTVILLE: RACE 6 @ 2:11PM (AEST)

Can't see much speed at all in the Adelaide Guineas. Kooweerup (6) has taken a while to get back to her best but that might have been here. She rattled late at Flemington and the mile only suits more. This is the right race for her. GAME KEEPER (2) has found his true form since a spell. He got back last month and attacked the line. Will enjoy the trip. HYPERCANE (3) gets some blinkers on now and looks a candidate for them. Can improve today. REALLY DISCREET (11) found the line nicely two weeks back. Has been a strange prep though. QUANTUM MECHANIC (10) comes off a provincial win but you must respect the trainers. Can lift again. SELECTIONS: Keen on Kooweerup. Little bet on Quantum Mechanic too.

ASCOT: RACE 3 @ 5:25PM (AEST)

Lording probably crosses to the lead with Captain Kink, Dew West and Blazing Billy all capable of racing handy. Platinum Bullet (1) hit the line well first-up then far too strong as favourite over this course. Up in weight but only 2kg over the limit and should take beating. RESORTMAN (8) impressed at only start at Bunbury and resumes here. Trialling strongly and looks a threat. CAPTAIN KINK (6) tried hard last time when wide throughout and has drawn a lot better this time. Can give them something to worry about. LORDING (3) can't be left out and BLAZING BILLY (2) is on the up. SELECTIONS: Platinum Bullet to win. Save on Resortman.
