Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on May 19.
Five TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Tuesday at Kembla Grange, Port Macquarie, Moe, Bundaberg & Rockhampton.
Moe: Race 8 @ 4:00pm
Hammer 'N' Tone to cross from a wide gate and lead at a good gallop. YULONG STRIDE (5) was ridden more aggressively last start and responded by battling on gamely for 3rd over this trip at Werribee. Very fit now after four runs back from a spell and is sure to be in the firing line for a long way. COWLEY'S CREEK (3) charged home late but just ran out of ground at the end of 1450m at Kilmore last time out. Crying out for this sort of trip and will be tough to keep at bay. VANTASTIC (2) was a shade disappointing when out of the placings over the mile on the Pakenham synthetic recently. Fitter for two runs back from a spell and worth another chance back on the turf. RAJPIPLA (1) impressed on debut last start and cannot be underestimated. SELECTIONS: #5 Yulong Stride is ready to win.

Kembla Grange: Race 4 @ 2:40pm
Explosive Truth to utilise inside draw. EXPLOSIVE TRUTH (5) rates strongly this line up after finishing off last preparation with a city placing at Randwick on the Kensington. Has trialled well in readiness for this. Expected to prove tough to beat. BLUFF 'N' BLUSTER (2) drifted well back before winding up strongly to just miss when third over 1250m at Canterbury. Yet to break through at this trip but has racked up five placings and rates among the leading chances. LADY HERBERT (9) was in the money two back but ran below best last time finishing eighth and beaten 6 lengths at Canterbury over 1250m. Will appreciate this company after racing in town latest. Has claims. SEBOURG (8) resumes. Showed promise during his maiden prep, placing in both his starts. SELECTIONS: Can't go past Explosive Truth.
Port Macquarie: Race 6 @ 3:05pm
Plenty of these like to roll forward so the pace will be genuine. REVENIRE (3) has contested midweek metro races at his last four runs, with a close 3rd over this distance at the Kensington track three runs back the pick. Blinkers go back on and this is a huge class drop. In the money at 10 of 14 runs on rain-affected tracks so he is perfectly placed today to break a long win drought. NOSEY (1) got too far back from a wide gate before making a little late ground at Gosford last time out over this distance. Form prior to that in town was quite strong. Finds a softer target today and should be in the finish. UPPER EAST SIDE (4) is gradually improving at each run this prep. Did his best work late when beaten under 2 lengths over 1000m at Coffs Harbour recently. Will be hard to hold out. Last start winner CRACKNECK (8) is also in the mix. SELECTIONS: #3 Revenire is ready to win - each-way odds available in early markets for the more cautious punter.
