Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for major Australian TAB meetings on June 7.
Australian thoroughbred meetings are today held at Hawkesbury, Swan Hill, Port Augusta, Ipswich, Kalgoorlie and the Sapphire Coast.
HAWKESBURY: RACE 8 @ 4:25PM
Expecting a genuine speed. Live And Loaded (7) is showing good promise. Had to make a sustained run around them at Scone last start but went down fighting. His win prior to that at Kembla Grange was quality. Holds more scope than this lot and is the one out of the race that can tackle better races. Hard to beat. LEARDO (6) put in a nice effort on heavy going at Goulburn last start. Showing good consistency this time in and gets in well with the claim. KELVINSIDE (11) can bob up in these races. Stablemate Notabadharada saluted in town on Wednesday paying $126. Wary. AUTUMN RAIN (2) for the multiples. SELECTIONS: Live And Loaded to end proceedings.

SWAN HILL: RACE 9 @ 4:30PM
Speed will be genuine over the short course. Wasabi, Low Level Flying, Meteor's Man and Diamondsandcowboys likely to be prominent. Elegist (3) is first up here having progressed nicely through his first campaign and with natural improvement this looks a suitable target fresh. With plenty of speed on he'll be finishing off hard late. BOMBSHELL BELLE (4) looks suited here third up from a nice draw. She can settle handy in the run and with luck she should be in the finish. VIVI VALENTINA (7) has placed three from four second up attempts and will find this easier than her first up assignment. Include. WASABI (9) was placed in a handy form race last start and has to be respected. POPPY'S ORSE (12) is a model of consistency and despite this being a step up he's worth including with Yendall going on. SELECTIONS: Elegist has plenty of upside. Back accordingly.
PORT AUGUSTA: RACE 4 @ 3:10PM (AEST)
Early speed right across the barriers with Pandeia and Antrim's Secret prominent. Antrim's Secret (8) brought a string of near-misses from stronger races when delivering the 6.5L win here at 54 level. Was heavily-backed and it's hard to see her beaten using the rail and with the weight relief. MY LESSON (5) led and won the 54 here easily a month ago, resuming an improved galloper. Needs a good ride from the claimer, but has claims. KING'S SPIRIT (1) didn't miss by far at Swan Hill three runs back and that would have him in the finish. SELECTIONS: #8 Antrim's Secret can go on with it now.
KALGOORLIE RACE 2 @ 3:50PM (AEST)
Bosnipp can lead from Roseicapilla and they will run along okay. Bosnipp (10) is quick and has placed at Belmont both race outings well-supported. Is back after 10 days for the new yard (Fernie) and should be winning in this grade making short work of the tricky gate. ASTARBA (5) had trialled well and then had good support on debut at Belmont but disappointed. Gets the handy claim today and quick improvement is on the cards. REDWOOD RANSOM (2) got close here two back and then found a couple too good the latest. Gets a low gate today and won't be far away racing handy. ROSEICAPILLA (9) presents off two solid placings and will get her chance reaching peak fitness. SELECTIONS: #10 Bosnipp can keep improving and should have these covered.
