Toowoomba: Race 3 @ 3:20pm

Man In Motion likes to roll forward early. BEWARE (2) has returned in good order this time in. Just beaten as a raging favourite at Warwick last start but that track is a renowned horses for courses venue. Track/distance win here prior to that was scintillating. Small query with the barrier but on the basis of exposed form he looks the testing material. SECLUDE (7) appreciated the class drop when getting the job done most recently. She's patchy with her form but a repeat of last start sees her in the mix. TWO 'N' WELLGO (1) creates interest now with the Arnold stable. He's a winner of six from twenty so clearly no slouch. Better form is around the 1100m range so may find these too nippy. Prefer to watch. Fitness peaks third-up for MIDNIGHT MATINEE (6). She's also a winner here. Not the worst. SELECTION: #2 Beware for the win.

Port Macquarie: Race 7 @ 3:30pm

Strong speed engaged. CLEVANICC (2) is bound to appreciate the drop in grade. He hasn't won for awhile but gets his opportunity back in the bush. Whacked away on the heavy going at Canterbury first-up. Strips much fitter and is expected to be fighting out the finish. MELTED MOMENTS (1) showed steady improvement last start at Casino. No recent wins but he gets in well with the claim for Golden. PRIMA STELLA (5) appreciated the weight drop last start when almost getting the cash. In the game on that. DEW DROP (12) has a liking for this venue. Next best. SELECTION:  #2 Clevanicc for the win.

Muswellbrook: Race 6 @ 3:50pm

They should scoot along in this. TROPHIES GALORE (4) has a consistent overall record. Missed a lip behind the talented Cafe Royal (should be unbeaten) last weekend at Newcastle. That's brilliant form for a race like this. Four time winner at this venue. Plenty to like. DRACHENFELS (3) showed signs of improvement when midfield in town last start. No recent wins is the obvious query but if the best version of himself turned up he'd give this a good shake. REDEMPTION ROAD (6) third-up appears close to peak. Led them up and gave some cheek at Wellington most recently. BAJAN GOLD (5) best of the remainder. SELECTION: #4 Trophies Galore gets the nod.

Mount Gambier: Race 4 @ 2:55pm

Just an even tempo anticipated. ACTION IN CAIRNS (1) has won two of the last three and goes wet and dry. Led and won the CL1 by a space 19 days ago at Hamilton, making another ratings spike. Rates highly and can go right on with it. MEMORY LANE (4) won the Maiden comfortably at Hamilton on the same day from the front and will be improved for the run. She won't be far away. REVOLUTION BABY (6) won the Maiden here resuming and that was easily her best effort. Needs a good ride but can build on that. SELECTION: Keen on #1 Action In Cairns.

Kalgoorlie: Race 6 @ 5:55pm

Pastry and Blackwood River can run the field along. PASTRY (2) has been busting to win for the leading yard and the most recent runs have been in city and provincial company. Gets the visors first time and should be winning this reaching peak. DALGARANGA (3) led and won at this level and then was heavily-bet again missing 1.1L after getting too far back from the wide gate. Draws handy and gets the chance to bounce stalking the speed. BLACKWOOD RIVER (5) is better than the formline suggests and got a lot closer in the CL2 the latest. Gets weight relief and the claim and keep safe on the 7-day return. BOOMA LACKA (1) resumes for the same yard and brings strong form over longer trips. Draws well and is worth a look with the 4kg claim. SELECTION: Backing #2 Pastry.
